    They complement each other nicely.

    I tend to not go the ful core as much. A 3 man with a sensor is a good little unit particularly if you back it up with paired fugazi and the save points let you add more teath to the list

    Yeah, with little to no SWC to invest in it a 5-trooper Fireteam just lacks punch.

    'though I'd argue in favour of the Hacker, and getting up to a 4-trooper in order to give that Hacker 6th Sense.

    But it's a balancing act no matter what.

    The real trick is to master the art of being aggressive with the TAGs without over committing and getting one or both trashed.

    he has the sniper, so its not really a non-SWC link. In fact its a rather solid defensive link.

    My opinion on 2 TAG lists however is that they are either better off taking first (and building/choosing missions appropriately) Or they should be taking TR HMGs to protect them early along with screening units.

    @Maksimas Heres what Im talking about with respect to 2 Tikbalangs, you could do this for a Dragoes and a Tikbalang, but it would need some modification

    This is a list I would consider aims to go first, killing with the TAGs early and then setting them up in overlapping defensive fire positions, not typically extending (or at least not remaining extended) beyond the protective screen that the 3 infiltrating camo tokens and the 2 Mines in your Deployment provides.

    This is more defensive, with the TR HMG being able to engage the opponent before they can bring their guns onto your tags without them being in supression fire, while a hacker would be nice to buff the TR HMG, after the first turn its role is pretty purely support if it survives and the heavy ARO and active duty will be done by the 2 BS 15 Mimetic HMGs


    As to 4 man links, and the hacker, not a fan, unlike other Lgls the regular hacker lgl wants and needs support, on its own, without KHDs or an EVO to boost its abilities and synergies the Hacker LGL is too vulnerable to a reapeater net or the opponents hackers and its a fairly obvious lynchpin piece in a TAG list as both your Spec fire and your Anti-hacker for the opponent to eliminate trivial and then be able to exploit the gap it left in the list to get at the TAGs.

    quick question on the side (I didn't find anything about it). How do the new Bagh Mari look next to the old ones? The different weapons aside. Is the scale much different?

    Both the scale and the armor design are quite different. For example, the old BM have antennae or aerials coming out of their back that you need to attach in place. The new ones have the standard PanO backpack instead. There are a lot of little differences like that.

    I’d like to hear people’s thoughts on Stephen Rao. It was a real shame he didn’t something more useful like CoC, Haris without SWC tax (which I think he had once?) or something similar, but does he have a use as he is?
    6th man in a full link we won’t take that often or 3rd Bagh in a Regular link both seem niche options.
    Has anyone had any luck using him to pad an Orc link, or Duo with Orc or Tikbalang? That feels niche as well TBH.
    I have the figure painted, and he is cool. I’d like to get more use from him. I’m thinking about converting him to have a BSG to just be a Bagh BSG profile who might get more use... (pretty easy to modify the fore grip on the Combi).

    I mean, he's 12 points cheaper than the cheapest ORC, and brings a B5 weapon for range 0-8" along for the ride which isn't to be sniffed. An ORC HMG Haris team with him runs to 103 pts and 2.5 SWC, which is much more reasonable than what you are usually clocking up.

    I think that he Machinist is a better choice for Bagh Mari Haris, so I'm not likely to put him in there...

    Overall he just still isn't giving us much reason to want him, unless you REALLY want that point-blank B5.

    Rao and Singh remain problematic for me. I can't see much reason to use either, compared to other units. Rao even competes with the default loadout of his own unit, because there are many situations where I'd rather have Combi + light shotgun over Combi + assault pistol.

    Dang, I admire your attitude. Rao comes labeled with a huge "shoot me" sign too, unless you simply use a different LT, in which case you don't end up using Rao to his full capability. I just don't know what to do with that.

    If the the reason for Singh's strange Chain of Command interaction is because of Vanilla lists using Joan, it sounds like the Knight of the Holy Sepulcher is going to render that whole interaction moot anyway. I don't know.

    He's only 1 pt more than the basic Rifle + Light Shotgun option, which is what I see him as a viable replacement for. It's not that I think he's going to see a lot of table time, or even be particularly amazing, but it's not like he has a high opportunity cost and he IS bringing something useful to the table.

    Hell, if you run him and a Bagh Mari HMG in a Regular Core Fireteam with a Spitfire Regular you've got B5 options with +3 all the way from 0-32... that's actually pretty impressive.

    This G1 is inspired by the Qapu Khalki Funduq Body Shuffle. The idea is to mix and match the fielded troopers reshuffling fireteams spending command tokens extensively. You can replace losses in either fireteam relatively easily. You have quite a lot of points (91 points) to spend on something interesting in G2. (If you sacrifice the Spitfire, you can take a hacker and REMs in G2, for example.)

    Thinking about bagh-mari=regulars core, finally get this one+ hacking net)
    Don't how it will work on the table, but in my mind it has a chance to surprise some hi-tech lists.
    Still not sure about bagh-mari sniper (but minelayer+long range aro is nice)/but to take second hmg +upgrade mulebot to regular have to be nice plane too..what's your opinion commrades?

    As for RAO, i really like him, but use him only in fun-games with full baghs in LI

    Maybe there is a slim chance of further revision to Rao and Singh when NCO and Tac Sense officially get added. I’m not holding my breath, but you never know.
