Well, more like Bruce Campbell as Bruce Campbell as a bounty hunter in a steampunk weird West setting.

Much like how in Brooklyn 99 Terry Crews is really just playing Terry Crews, it works because they're just so damn charming.

Offtops are a sacred tradition. It's simply that we like discussing with each other whether there is any new info on the game, or not :)

On the sequels - there's no rule at this point. Second or third installments can be worse (due to novelty wearing off), can be better (time to dig deeper into the material and polish some ideas). Hell, they can even keep the quality. Consider Expanse (I love both the books and the way they were translated into series). I just watched 3rd season and for me it's still going strong.

Re: Alien/Aliens - I consider the issue interesting. Do we call movie a sequel because it follows up on the characters, or because it stays within the genre? Or both? For me neither is necessary, movie is a sequel if it builds on and continues a theme or issue introduced by its predecessor.

Happens with Nathan Fillion and Robert Downey Jr too. Oh, and Charlie Sheen.

Nathan Fillion is a goddamn treasure.

Matt Berry too, he really walks a fine line between awful and genius. I still can't decide if "Toast of London" is a masterpiece or train wreck, but I love it.

Fried food or cookies, I'll leave the topic to follow up to you.

I'm a sucker for any sort of time travel or immortality plot.

The real question is what kind of fried foods does Infinity have? Thanks to the Fat Yaun Yaun, we know noodles are a thing. (Does anyone have a copy of Lo Pan's menu?) But what else do they have? Surely some of these alien worlds have offered up some rare delicacies? The oceans of Varuna surely have some exotic seafood possibilities. Nomad Praxus Food Labs? I haven't combed through my RPG material lately, but my faulty memory doesn't remember much discussion on foods. This is a topic in need of further exploration.

USAriadna has the last Coca-Cola bottling facility in the Human Sphere.

Acontecimento has a large South American population so I expect a lot of their culinary traditions will have followed.

Neoterra is a real melting pot so you'll have every type of cuisine available, from curries to pizza to Korean, Pinoy, Eastern European, Mexican, and whatever Australia is known for (barbecue shrimp?).

Caledonia will have successfully introduced wild haggis to their lands so the Scottish tradition of Haggis hunting will continue, 99% of their food will be deep fried, especially chocolate bars.

Nomads probably have everything from nutrient gruel and protein bars up to extremely illegal delicacies available at the most exclusive Vaudeville eateries.

They likely have a lays/doritos chip dispenser that can on the spot create any imaginable flavors. Or food 3D printers with custom flavor and custom textures :)

However the drinks dispenser only makes something almost, but not entirely, unlike tea.

Vast amounts of processing power are currently in use to determine why so many residents want dried leaves boiled in water.

I always imagined most ships/orginizations just have a replicator from Star Trek
Then there might be some restaurants or more luxury places on planets and in cities

Less of a sequel and more of a follow up but Hot Fuzz was even better than Shaun of the Dead.

Alien and Aliens are entirely different movies, both good, and one being better than the other is entirely a matter of opinion.

I highly doubt Infinity has Star Trek style replicators. If Silk can be used to produce food then maybe for the extremely wealthy. Even Star Trek: Enterprise still had a mess hall.

    soylent red lol
