    I keep coming back to Van Zant for Liu Xing. Oniwaban changes the way your opponent tries to Rambo while Van Zant changes the way your opponent positions their mooks

    Sure. And that's the problem. YJ doesn't seem to have a Rambo-preventer like the Oniwaban anymore.

    Feeling a lot more elastic and "modern" in my list building and strategy options now in Vanilla Yu Jing.
