    Hi all,

Just a little confused by the text on this one.

Reset is already a ZOC ARO valid for all troop types - What purpose does this second sentence serve?

To show that the person who wrote it hasn't read Reset.

Because Reset http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Reset have these Effects listed:
    • By passing a Face to Face WIP Roll, the trooper avoids a Hacking Attack or a Comms Attack.
    • The user can declare Reset even without LoF to the attacker, and even if the attacker is outside his Zone of Control and his Hacking Area. Reset can be also declared if the attacker is in base to base contact with the user, in Engaged state.
    • If the user wins the Face to Face WIP Roll, he may apply the Guts Roll rules.
    • By passing a Normal WIP Roll, the user cancels his own Immobilized-1 state.

and Data Scan is not included in any of them. If it was not for that sentence, Reset would not be able to avoid a Data Scan.

@tox Nothing in that wording says that the Reset allows you to avoid the Data Scan.
