This month, I will paint the Naga Sniper that was pledged last month... and hopefully several of the new Rebots which will be shipped soon :)
I pledge... 2 Al Fasid 3 Janisaries + 1 Tinbot 3 Tanko 1 Scylla -- I love this model! 1 Bebe (left over from last month. I screwed up her eyes so bad she might swin in acetone...)
I've already laid down the base and a wash on my Janisaries but it is the 5th so I hope we can call it fair.
Tanko completed for my son. And, man, to I regret giving him a missile launcher. We played Comms Center, and he blasted half my models off the table with this guy alone. (Well, in a Domaru/Tanko Pain Train...)
Janissaries and al fasids in progress, Bebe swam in acetone and might return later, but here are two lunakhods + 4 Krazy Kwala
Camden Leisure Pirate - All vallejo model colors. Base coat 70.975 Military Green Zenithal high-light at a 45deg angle 70.891 Intermediate green. Zenithal high-light from above down 1:1 70.891 + 70.916 Deep Yellow, really picking out only three things I really want to high-light, head, knees, fore-arms, etc. I want 3 areas highlighted from the front since the human eye wants to pick out three key details. I attempted a pinwash with one drop of black ink 2ml Future floor polish+ 4 ml water. (Or one drop of ink in a beer cap with 1:4 mix of future + water (My bottle is old enough to still be called Future, I think it is now Johnsons floor polish.) Think it was too dark, so I drybrushed intermediate Green and intermediate green + Deep Yellow. I think I cam back with a very thinned yellow paint to redo some of the zenithal highlights. (Some airbrush, some thin layering with brushes.)
Thanks, I think I'll have to order them, I do my haqq green with what I had to hand but I prefer yours.
Complete, 2 Lunokhod in my teal&cream Star-co Pattern. The attachment point of the tail fin was so small I didn't bother trying to install it -- Just saved me self the frustration of breaking it off later
