No 10 -> 11 BS is 1 point not 11 ->12. The PH 10 -> 11 is probably correct. Even still, EVEN IF we factored in 6 points to make it even, you're still -1W down to even out the cost.. so yeah.. overcosted. That's fair. Look, it doesn't matter if AD4 costs roughly the same as Doctor (Hellcat vs Bipandra), 5 points and a Sniffer (Meteor), or 8 points. If you calculate it at 10 points, a Zuyong with Courage who dropped their Breaker Pistols during landing would be slightly cheaper than the Liu Xing - which means that Explode LX does something to warrant a cost and we can't fully evaluate the trooper until we know. You do know that the purpose of a pre-release video like this is to generate this reaction: THESE UNITS IVE SEEN FOR 15 SECONDS MAKE ME EXCITED

PanO get +1 BS for cheap (usually, mostly not the case on things like BS14 -> BS15 ) YJ is a meme with paying for +1CC on line troopers when that skill should be free on the first 3 levels. Ariadna also pays next to nothing for their +1PH
We have and we don't have. Yu Jing has been gutted in terms of unit choices yet they still found a way to make overlapping roles in vanilla. That in itself is amazing, since we're not talking about PanO or Ariadna who have more sectorials than units and actually need units to be niched for their sectorials. We shall see what Explode does, it will define the unit. The Liu Xing is otherwise mediocre and unexciting, which is very serious criticism to level at a pre-release video meant to build hype, but in the long run having a unit go to history as "meh?" is to be expected for most of them and is less serious criticism on the unit itself. This has been known, and was literally some of the first comments made about it
The only thing i like about those profile is that they're the definite proof that ariadna isn't as techologically impaired as they claim to be. "yeah but see our HIs don't even have 2 proper wounds!" "well just look at the brand new HIs of the HI faction, which is supposed to spend most of its funds in the developement of power armour technology..."
Lol at Yu-Jing. Compare the Liu Xing to Crusader. For mere 7 pts you get guaranteed 2nd wound (hello Bioimmunity), Explode LX, +1 PH and full 4-4 MOV. Kinematika is probably a wash. Yes I know its hackable but so far we know that all HI have it as a given and it doesn't confer any discounts.
