But he always has the -3 mod for shots against him. Letting him play way more aggressively. And it rises to -6 on his cc target with MA1. I think he's gonna end up being a really strong early game attack piece. Sure I'll find out once my local PanO player uses him a few times.
All things considered, I'd prefer to have them be Yadu-style MI. The Hackable trait is very limiting and the Liu Xing profile makes them a bit like a gimmicky and expensive Tiger, but sort of... worse? The lack of Shock immunity on the Zhencha is also very disappointing for the same reasons, and thoroughly risks having it be just a particularly vulnerable MI. I'm disappointed. I was sort of hoping for... more... from these. Not fake MI
Hey, I'd be more than fine with the exchange. :) Who do we talk to about doing this? Also, I like but not love. Zhencha is fine and interesting, but not OMGMUSTHAVE. :)
Considering the way I wrote what I wrote all Yadu would get from this trade is Hackable trait. I don't think this is a trade you'd be happy with.
Yeah, that's all I meant with that I'd like them to have been made in the style of the Yadu (a.k.a. fake HI but without the hacking drawbacks). If they're going to be 1 wound troopers with shoddy stats (looking at the Sun Tze-level BS of Zhencha), then at least let me avoid the Hacking mini-game (that Invincible Army so far looks like they can only participate as target practice in).
I found this on the preoder page : " Remember that the distributors orders will be prioritized. " At least Corvus Belli is honest with us this time : if you want your preorder on time, you should not order it from CB
They've never been dishonest about it, it's been known about since N3 happened (I can't remember whether I knew about since paradiso, but it might have been known then)
To be fair I got my Uprising order before most distributors, which is impressive considering how out of the way I live. I think shipping to distributors first is a more recent thing.
Uprising may have been more the anomaly. Have a look back to any of the GenCON releases over the past years. Always we have seen people complain that they can get the release from the store before CB has shipped them* *Also remember that the first people CB ship too will likely get it ahead of stores releasing, however not everyone will.
When I pre-ordered Uprising it came without the miniature, but they managed to get the miniature about a week later. (They currently have some with the pre-order mini sitting on the shelves) I was told it was something going on with their distributor. Currently Atomic has the Third Offensive book listed, but nothing about a pre-order miniature (previous books had the pre-order miniature listed). I was debating running over on my lunch break to ask them about the pre-order.
Hey, if the Scots can't find anyone else to fight, they happily fight among themselves! (My family were Border Rievers, on both sides of the border)
Most of my family records were lost when my great-grandma burnt them convinced the Nazis were coming - decades after WWII, halfway around the world, in the throes of dementia - but the one line I can trace with some reliability were also border rievers, before being sent off to Ireland when the Crown was breaking them all up. Most of us then buggered off to America at some point before the American Revolution, and most of those who remained - by then (the early 1800s) all in and around London, and all doing the kind of work you can get with no education and less money - repeated the process to Australia and New Zealand in the last two centuries. I'm of the Australian branch.
