Yeah put me down for 2 Varuna starters! My mind is swimming with conversion ideas for the second box!

 

Is this mainly about getting enough Combi Rifles into the mix?

 

With the way CB has been putting their models together lately, expect any conversion work to be lengthy and difficult. Since most of the models in the kit will probably be 2 piece upper and lower body with the gun and arms fused to the upper body.

 

My thoughts exactly and btw rudra is huge...

 

With Wildcard Kamaus (as written by Gutier in a magazine article) you don’t need many combis. Just splash the HMG, HRL or MSR in your link of choice. With 2 combis from the starter I might convert one to another profile honestly. Maybe Hacker or FO?

 

Ok, so what are the other ideas? The Zulu Cobra (?) will get a Jammer blister soon anyways, Kamaus have a HMG already, Orcs are already around. So going for 3 Crocmen?

I feel you, man. I just got starter and Baghs, need to get a second set of boxes for conversion purposes. Add VIRD, BCF, Kazaks, the book, maybe the MO box if the changes will be good...

 

Well it went from:

"last minis I've bought from CB were a year ago"

to

"well I have to finish full OSS range, get ACON when possible, think about when I can paint VIRD, and the MO could also use a refresh when 300 pts box is around"

My wallet will hurt ;/

Aside from the weirdness of the SWC, I like the VIRD box.
Beyond Coldfront is nice.
Kazaks are eh.

 

HMG lady is terryfying

 

Now that I think about it I can postpone the Kazak box, as most of the time heavy weapons are provided by Vets or Frontoviks.

BFC on the other hand is very important, especially for OSS. Though Kazak side is great as well. Strelok Marksman is a hidden gem.

 

I suspect we'll see their fluff in thatnext book Bostria was talking about.

 

Tunguska don't have a force on Paradiso in the same way that the other factions do.

 

Corregidor: "These trees weren't contributing their part, so we've spaced them".

Bakunin: "These trees were looking kinda kinky, so we've fucked them".

 

Kazaks aren't exactly known for being on Paradiso.

Merovingians and Caledonians certainly, but Kazaks...not so much.
