I would trade MetaChemistry L2 for dogged every single time - 40% results of MetaChemistryL2 are meh at best.

I am not saying this model will break the game or will kill whole enemy list but it is just way too good for its cost. 8pts model that can nicely trade with 30pts+ infiltrators due to SMG/Chaincolt and have surprise attack - yes, please.

He has to Discover them first, with WIP 12. He will dodge a mine or two, but this will make him lose marker state. And this will leave him wide open for any counterattack from beyond 8". In active it might be dangerous, but not against a proper defense.

I think this comes down to us having a different view on what's considered "OP". I come from the Hearthstone/5th edition 40k mentality, where something "OP" or "too good" basically means there's literally zero reason NOT to include it into your list, ever. It's so cheap and cost efficient that almost no matter what it does, it earns itself back and have the potential to trade itself with other pieces many times its value. Much the same way that the Warcor provides enormous value for little to no cost.

You and @inane.imp seem to be under the impression that I'm talking about "OP" as in, "this-will-win-against-almost-anything-ftf-for-no-points-omg-plsnerf"-style of OP, aka. the MOBA kind of OP.

Also, didn't say the sky is falling.

MetaChem2 was in addition to what Stiopa had listed, I'm sorry if that wasn't clear. I've not said anything comparing it to Dogged. Also, the only MetaChem2 result that I personally regard as less than amazing is +1 ARM and Bioimmunity.

@Zewrath: I wasn't referring to you specifically, but to the general reaction, both here and on fb and other forums.

Also, you're right. We're using different definitions of OP here. I agree that Libertos have nice cost/value ratio, though I still don't see them as an autoinclude, just as I don't see Warcors as one. Nice unit, useful, has its place, but I think it'll be in line with current power level.

Fair enough, that's just different philosophies in list building then. That's cool. :)

And this is where you are wrong ;P

If you have 3 pts left then you always include Warcor xD

(obviously its said from MO perspective, as we don't have that granual differences in most profiles)

"If" is the operative word here ;) Plus sometimes I prefer to get another Palbot. Plus sometimes you have the points, but no place in Limited Insertion list.

Zondbot, upgrade to CRAP Morlock, FastPanda, Pitcher upgrade for a Moderator, FO on an Alg, Repeater for a Securitae.

I mean you're half way to another Morlock, so you can drop 3pts worth of those things to go all the way.

Nah, I suggest (or rather wish) they'd be around 30-35 pts, with Eclipse, shotguns, SMGs, DTWs, and EXP CCWs, not counting possible link options. Tell me they wouldn't be heavily played ;)

    It would ;P

Seems (and I hope) that Hosp+Mag link might go on (well earned) leave while all new toys/options will be explored and tested :D

I see the Libertos as a nice new shell for ariadnan shell game. Maybe Nomads could have use too but nothing more.

Too optimized. And I almost bought the "no power creep" argument... new book after Uprising, people not really convinced... Great profile that will have a recycled model later on.
Call me a cynic, but it does look like the selling point of the book is the model.

Depends on the faction. Nomads, Aleph and Ariadna can now play a great shell game of markers. And Haqquislam got another "pawn takes rook then dies" piece.

Tell that to the Pupettactic :p

Irrelevant, the idea here is: DEP for Combi-like range ARO, SMG and chain colt for close ARO. Can protect a flank against AD trooper, dodges at 10+6... Sure, it's a crappy shooting troop.
But it's a no-fail, 0SWC Daylami close to the center of the table. And if you don't see the danger there, you neeed to face more Haqquislam.
