http://www.data-sphere.net/impressions-from-the-interplanetary-2015-background-a-k-a-fluff/ Anything about the natives of Varuna? Nothing solid yet. The Oom “fish-men” and Helots will appear as a playable part of the Varuna sectorial, though! whos Ooms fish-mens? Shape of water 2?
Half Fish Half Artichoke All Not Getting General Release Minis Until Next Year A shame they're not Robofish...
"Oom" is what Helots call themselves. "Helot" is actually a reference to ancient Sparta; it was the people they subjugated/enslaved that lived in Sparta.
Fishguys getting the cool weapons. If TAK can get T2 Marksman rifle and T2 rifle, can we get DA marksman rifles and DA combis?
Really hoping the lack of Tunguska is just a promo material mistake. Otherwise, why the hell didn't we get an actual army pack instead of just the starter set?
But seriously, why? Why do you so desperately need Tunguska in this book? To have a printed stats for army that out there for what, 3 months? Why? (This also extent to TAK and OSS. IMO only worthwhile things are Varuna and Imperial Army - because it's brand new) (And I'm not sarcastic or aggressive, just genuinely curious)
For the lore. Currently there's general stuff in the books but when they release new units and sectorials they add in specific lore about said units and sectorials. If Tunguska aren't in TO where is their lore? I'm sure they will be in the book and have just been bypassed in the preview
Well, even if the TJC fluff isn’t in this book, it appears CB is looking to get books out with greater frequency, so maybe something in the new year.
I'm not expected printed stats. We didn't get any in Uprising, did we? As mentioned, it's for the lore. It was heavily implied that this book would be covering the releases that weren't in Uprising.
