Please stop talking about real world atrocities and talk about how dare they include a terrorist as a preorder mini. I am actually intrigued. Libertos have a rather limited and particular theater of operation: Varuna. Why is there a mini? Libertos are definitely not getting a faction. Are the terrorists/freedom fighters selling their services to other humans? To Tohaa? Is there an alien merc faction coming? Are Libertos ran off the planet or are they gathering funding/sympathy for next uprising? It's actually interesting how the Human Sphere is getting more and more alien-y as the setting progresses. There's three different alien mercs available now and we're getting more faction specific non-human auxiliaries soon (which I actually thought PanO would never do, but I guess it makes sense on a water world), following the Antipodes. And now there's Libertos and rumors of Exrah (who already have contacts with humans).

You don't understand. "Out of control" is the default state of speculation threads, especially when there's not enough news. At least one of these threads on the old forums had over 100 pages. It's pretty much the same deal as with Krakots. Fluff-wise, they operate in no man's land on Paradiso, but every faction has access to them, regardless of their involvement on that particular front, or the location of the mission in question. That's true, it got really visible with Tohaa Cube Jaeger. I fully expect joint human/alien NA2 at some point next year (Exrah would fit nicely).
