I think its funny that the only semi official word from CB are a forum mod and some warcors telling people to stop complaining. Everything in this thread is speculation, and i stick with my gut instinct saying the speculation of tohaa being dropped are true. At this point why would CB make more tohaa, i mean if new players come to this forum theyll see a bunch of people wondering if the army is getting the ax, which will drive down sales even more. Its a vicious circle of the company not supporting one of its brands, which drives down demand for that brand, which drives down incentive for the company to support the brand. Only a few months ago IGW was trying to say CB always saw tohaa as a sectorial and not a complete faction, and last month one of the most prolific brand ambassadors, the one who wrote the tactics for the faction quit the game because of lack of brand support. I dunno what else the mods want people to talk about in this forum, theres nothing new to talk about, all thats left is speculation about the factions inevitable demise
@borings Very good points. This makes me want to know what is going to happen to the Tohaa even more now. I'm literally holding off getting into the faction because of this uncertainty that is hanging above us. Like an ax that is waiting to come down. 2019 can't come sooner enough. The suspense is "killing" many people who are worried about the state of things for Infinity's Elves/Eldar. I just hope that whatever happens to the Tohaa, and the Shas for that matter, will turn out to be favorable instead of disastrous.
Im not sure if that is true. There were lots of healthy critics from mr. Magonus (holes in rules, complicity, dying local infinity communities, strange updates). At some point, with certain experience in Infinity you're starting to be annoyed by its flaws (I'm pretty sure it is true for every hobby though) like too much... especially if you're having an alternative ways of spending your free time. I think there is a deeper problem in CB - the guy who writes fluff and rules, doesn't actually play the game, doesn't take part in tournaments and that reflects not only on Tohaa.
He was quite toxic towards the end, not to mention he is a racist. Just take a look at his avatar. ^^

As I mentioned in my comment, I had my clashes with him. You can also check his website, he includes references to typical alt-right talking points in his posts. I did not form my opinion of him based on his avatar. I think back in the day he had a different one, but it's been awhile. The avatar is just another clue.
