The Arjun's Kiranbots are remotes and are able to benefit from programs like Assisted Fire. Assisted Fire grants Marksmanship level 2 to the remote. According to the rule of Marksmanship this also grants the shock effect to all their weapons including templates. Does this combination of rules give the same effect to the E/Marat as it does to the Zhayedan's breaker rifle? The E/Marat and E/M ammo both aren't non-lethal, so would a hit from the E/Marat inflict both a BTS and ARM roll?
from: http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Marksmanship However, these benefits do not apply to BS Weapons with any of these Traits: Throwing Weapon, Technical Weapon, and Non-Lethal. In this case the Marksmanship won't combine the 2 ammos (because Non-Lethal) and templates don't gain any benefice from the level 2.
As pointed out in the FB discussion that spawned this question, and in the OP, neither E/Marats nor E/M ammo have the Non-Lethal Trait. I can't see anything that stops it.
Lol, I should have checked the weapon. Assumed the E/Marat had the Non-Lethal key, sorry for the misinformation
Like, LOL. Only.problem is you only buff a single auxbot at a time... (can you actually declare coordinated order with 2 HD to have 2 dofferent bots benefiting from it?o0)
only problem I see with this is it's very order intensive for not very much pay-off. if the Arjuna was a repeater, maybe. no, assisted fire is targeted. same reason you cannot coordinated open panoplies.
Thank you for confirming this! It's kind of a gimmick, but I feel this might've been an unintended interaction. The profiles pdf lists them having structure. Guess it's a bug!
Just one clarification, this interaction won't make the BTS-roll deal damage. The afected enemy would roll BTS/2 (for Isolate/IMN-2) and ARM (for 1 W/STR with shock ammo). But It is still an amazing buff to that template, I want something like that in Nomads, I'm jealous XD
