My idea being you link up with the Samekh (using the Apsara buff) to provide solid AROs against your opponent's first turn. In your turn, drop the link and reform as the Daks and Deva to head out and get work done.

Suffice to say, I want to try a lot, and am very excited for OS. Yadu Haris and Core, with Rudras or Samekh, and not. NCO seems amazing with Asura LT2, but even decent with just the Haris, and the variety of gun ranges available to Yadus. The thing I'm finding surprising is that few, if any, lists I'm playing with seem to find Danavas particularly useful: I either want and take closer range Killer Hacking devices (Shakti, Naga Killer), or benefit from an EVO (supportware benefits, Garudas in list, whatever). I mean, at least they're cheap, and they're no doubt good, but the lack of hefty repeater network seems to make me justify other hackers over them most of the time. Maybe I'm missing something though: my JSA don't exactly drown in good hackers, and my Yu Jing barely use more (though they tend towards more variety). I'm only just starting to bring ALEPH stuff to a playable level now that Vedic is here.

Strong ARO options and the Asura is an absolute active turn monster. granted its light on specialists, id play this for something like Firefight. (0 | 12) 2.5 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army I like so much that new 2 profiles added for Rudra's, but definetly with that range on k1 ammo rifle with assited fire + shock, i think its very strong against heavy armored list and "regular" against LI infantry bcs you have shock already at +13 armor save, same effects on Red Fury without -1 burst dice... On Yadus core that's perfect worth it. Shurka LT1 strat1 with counterinteligence on "spam" orders list, i think are your best bet... same on limited insertion without playing Asura LT2, or a regular Deva out of her flamebot or an Daysus LT option on a heavy camo list. Carriying with Andromea with a High WIP LT, for more chances to win and start for win the 1st turn just only for her behind her a hihg and covered midtable without Arjuna's support bots and a "defensive" LT's and troops securing a little spot and hidding as much if possible. And yeah, mk2 sniper i think the best key on active turn as a hard killer machine TO sniper with 13BS :/ a regular dakini sniper i see him very nice and strong, but the problem if you playing with dakinis, you need to choose playing the Apsaras + FTO ML and a full REM core with 1 cheap CSU and a Danavas H+... Assited Fire if you need shock effect or white noise. Or simply put 2 Danavas H+; 1 on assited fire and the last for the white noise, best cheap option are: apsaras + danavas h+, in your deployement choose the active jumper on a dakini and on the starting turn, expending 1 order to do white noise against enemy MVS as ARO pieces. And last, Yadus... full core options, simply a nice and strong fireteams combos as a stomp troops to go push to the end over dakinis. Powerfull weapons, nices tools, veteran1, mines dispensers (also drop bears or rudras options), template weapons and shock ammo in short ranges (yeah... heavy pistols lol). And if you going to fight against a heavy cammo list... just pick Asura and playing with 2 and some posthumans+cheap orders and spend entire orders on: discover+shoot for free. Dirty, funny, strong and powerfull sectorial i see on this new SSO, playing with lot of sinergies as "cheap profiles" or as elite list.

If I wanted fireteams, I’d play 40K, and I think, I prefer the added variety of Phalanx troops.
While the adaptability of vanilla is great, the specific AVAs of Vedic, combined with unique profiles for Andromeda/Devas/others, and Yadu/Rudras/Samekh/CSU fireteams are the real draw for me, tiny little fireteam deathballs as the Yadu Haris or its special Haris options might possibly be are pretty awesome, even if you don't take a core.

Not looking to change your list too much, I've tweaked your list to have the ASURA as your lieutenant, so that a) it's that much tougher than your Deva LT and b) if the link breaks you've got double LT orders to do work with. I downgraded your minelayer naga to get the extra SWC, and moved it into your Proxy group with the idea being to use it more for area denial (lay a mine, enter suppression at some point maybe), while the other Naga and your links do work, and to make sure the proxies have that extra order since I lost the Lamedh. Since I couldn't fit the Lamedh anyway, I took a Warcor for the same flash pulse defense tool, and upgraded the CSU to a breaker rifle for that sweet sweet armour ignoring goodness. Pretty sure the main thing I would want if I were you, and making larger changes, is an engineer, and maybe a doctor or paramedic: definitely would want one of each for ITS with Classifieds, just because we're already trash at Predator. Thx for Your reply. I like the Asura lt suggestion, but loosing infiltrating BSG is huge deal. Maybe I shoud take Garuda instead of that Naga and add a paramedic to dakini link.
According to the Army, Dakini's can form fireteam by themselves, also they can include up to 2 Devas in the fireteam, up to 1 CSU and up to 1 Samekh. Am I right? Also, Rudras gunbots rule says, that they can join any fireteam of the Yado. So, if I take Yado's haris i can place there 1 Yadu or Shakti, 1 Deva or Asura and one Rudra gunbot? Or I must take full haris team - 3 models - and add Rudra gunbot?
I think the intent is that they replace a Yadu, so you can do something like -Yadu -Yadu -Rudra or -Yadu -Asura -Rudra I remember reading that it's not formulated "Rudra count as a yadu" to prevent multiple Rudra in the link. I think the wording of fireteams in OS was needlessly complicated (but it got better)
It has been fleshed out fully - the Wildcard (Samekh) and pseudo-Wildcard (Rudras) can replace any constituents in the link, even those made mandatory in the Special Haris teams. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/forming-fireteams-a-summary.3553/page-4 Also, the Haris teams do not specify which model needs provide the FT: Haris profile.
