I would like to make a proxy for a Hardcase that looks like Lara Croft from the Survivor series.
My problem is that i don't have clue what models to use.
Does someone have any tips for me?

I might start with the yu jing ninja from the red veil box and then try a head swap? I know the armor is wrong but the pose sure seems dead on.

Miranda is also a great base for a dynamic adventurer female. She is even Lara in the fluff, basically.

That is interesting. Might work. Only to get the Ninja would be hard.
I think i have some ropes lying around for the climbing gear.

Miranda is easier to get, but i am not sure if i like the look of her.

Dart might be a good model to start from as well. Statuesque Miniatures also as some great female bodies that could be used as a base.

Look up project z female survivors, put the arms with the bow and arrow on a Grunt or line Kazak body.

I have had this discussion with another player and he was suggesting, the hardcase model for the bow/quiver, the 6th Airborne female molotok model, cutting the molotok to look like a crossbow and using the hardcase bow for the crossbow conversion

If you don't mind a non-CB mini, try something from Hasslefree minis. Though their bow-armed girl looks more like Catpiss from Hunger Games, 'Indiana' looks like the current Lara Croft (not Angelina):

Note that that is a resin master, not a metal production casting, so they're a bit pricey. It'll probably be a couple months before the production metals are available.

Do you know the size compared to Infinity Models?

I don't have either of those specific models, but I do have Tomoko and Isseki (Major and Batou-in-civvies). Maybe a couple others lurking around in the collection as civvies. I ponied up the cash for clear resin Tomoko and Batou, because they were clear resin (to use as TO camo markers), but the clear resin is much more expensive than solid-color resin because it's much harder to get a casting without any air bubbles visible in it.

Hasslefree minis are about the same size as Infinity minis in general, may be a little smaller now (but still within human variation). The proportions will be a bit different, Kev White tends to sculpt bigger heads and hands than CB's sculptors. Not massively bigger, not like GW proportions, but bigger than Infinity. This is OK if you're aiming for a more anime look. Some of the Hasslefree minis are significantly smaller, but that's deliberate. They make some children and petite females, ~22mm tall instead of 28+. The petite ladies usually only come up to the shoulder of most of the guys, and the kids are elbow-high.

Are you looking for the newer style of lara or the older?

Because for the newer style of Lara the Daylami light shotgun or the airbourne ranger with a molotok may be a good start. It also lets you keep the cb requirement in case you find yourself in a tournament.

I try Indiana from Hasslefree. If i will ever be on a tournament, i just can use the standard Hardcase.
Thank you all for the advice.

What model is the girl on the far right, kneeling down?
I actually took a Hawkeye Hero Clix for my hard case, it's the Hawkeye w/out the mask tho, more like the one from the Avengers movie.

Haqqislam Hunzakut, I also use one as a Chasseur, the Rifle arm that comes with the Intel SpecOp fits really well.

I used the original arm on her. But swapped the top half of her rifle with one I clipped off of a usariadnan grunt. Using spares from the kazak intel is a good idea though. Was pleased how snug i got it to fit on.

Not-Katniss is quite small but looks still in scale. She looks like a teenager next to the regular hardcase. I'm planning on bulking up mine with some pouches and stuff.

    Here is a size comparsion.
    Finished both today.
I am not a really good Painter though.

The Hasslefree Minis are a bit smaler then the latest CB Minis but the same size as the old ones.
