My mistake, I thought the Kiranbots were included in the price. I apologize. I am still excited about them, and hope the sculpt is good, so I can put them on the board. Those do seem to perform similar roles, but they do it in a different way. Nothing wrong with doubling up on a role though. Also you can only have three Posthuman Proxies on the board. MK2 and MK5 are certainly all-stars of the Posthuman lineup, but I think the less popular MK3 and MK4 also have a place, even more so in OSS that is light on the Heavy Infantry. But hey, if you don't like them, don't field them. I think they are awesome.

I think you're all looking at Arjuna the wrong way. She's not an active trooper, but she's a defensive trooper. Imagine just how much space she can cover with two big templates? Independent ones? Admittedly, she won't kill, but she'll immobilise anything heavy coming close - and she can do it without risking herself.
Yes, I see Arjuna definitely aa a defensive unit, mining the entire midfield or deployment zone, then parking the bots so they can ArO with their E/M templates. But then a Zero or some other non hackable cheap unit comes and laughs at your wasted 30+ points
the things i dont like about her.. 2 bots which are enough expensive useless if your opponent is for instance lets say vanilla ariadna. they can be a defensive trio but... with 6-2 movement and being specialist ? doesnt look fruitful. this has to be an unit to kill something big. but without smokes how can you reach to mid table ? By murdering any ARO troopers stupid enough to linger. This sectorial has plenty of options for that. Arjuna then advances into the midfield and takes a good defensive position, while your other units go about their business. Hell, Arjuna can also go for objectives if needed. 4 pts E/Marat bots are far more scary against HIs and TAGs than Koalas, for example. Even without their blind homing mode.
E/Marats still isolate Ariadnan troops. They can still ARO, but can no longer use one of their bigger advantages, large Order pools. Don't use her early. She can do two things: once enemy advances into midfield, Kiranbot suicide run. Sure, the bots will die, but she'll live. Then, on turn 3 when there is little opposition left, she can try for an objective as needed. Meh. You are getting Varuna. This game doesn't need another PanO sectorial. Yes, I agree up to a point. For me, she's the DZ defender, and then last hurrah on turn 3. Oh yes. Because what this game really needs is more troopers to immediately shutdown the everpresent HIs and TAGs. :-/
I'm keen for Arjuna - some discrepancy on Army though... At my pc I can take 2 bots but on mobile I can have 3. Also, don't discount her surprise CC ability - Arjuna + 2 bots = burst 3 Breaker Pistol in CC :D
Oh please, OSS does a lot of things PanO can only dream of. Flexible shooting/button pushing teams, REM integration and support, Heavy Infiltration (I don't regard TOFO Sergeants as equals to Naga/Deva/Mk.2/Dart/even Andromeda toolbox). Durability. They might not be everpresent, but present for sure. Two bots come at 8 pts, a small price to pay as an additional insurance just in case.
Ok can someone explain why Samekh FTO pays 5 pts instead of 1 for privilage of having ML ? (like in Ikary Company)
On the flexible links and REM integration, that's why I said you're getting Varuna. Durability, only kinda. However, REM support? We can hardly compete with 18pts Hackers and Bulleteers and Peacemakers, sorry. Not to mention the cheap bots on Auxilias. Anyway, not the point. OS shoots well, true, but it's still a notch under PanO. What OS/Aleph has is high-end troops (good stats for their "class"), large and omnipresent specialists, and various fancy tricks. I was being sarcastic. I find Infinity is balanced far too much against HIs and TAGs; there is too much direct counters to them. Furthermore, too many of those counters are weak or useless against light/cheap troops. I don't like it.

"Nothing to do with" is a huge exaggeration. It's maybe the worst representation to the mythology (based on my limited because I play ALEPH reading), but it's not wrong. How far did archers shoot compared to firearms? The rest of the names seem pretty good to me, asura is a demon, garuda flys, etc. Maybe the 4 extra points aren't for the ML? In a "joining any fireteam is crazy" kind of way. Probably because CB realised that some players are impossible to please and will be negative and whiny regardless, so they just upped the points a bit to reward you and Nemo No Name for all the begativity you add to the community.
As I hypothetical counter because I can't believe that's the reason for the points being upped. Vet Kazaks are far stronger than the Samekh and the get to join everything they damn well please for free.
