Let's not get into that discussion :D In our meta pie slicing is a thing (and I'm happy with it), so usually it's a 1on1.

For some reason, LI is also uncommon in our meta (even though everybody hates spam lists). The idea came from Looting and sabotaging, where the ACs had ARM8. With ARM2 of the heaters higher CC + DA is better than AP+EXP, I suppose (someone may do some math maybe).

Unless you have superior infiltration, there isn't much point of rolling for infiltration, going up mid table should be the way to go.

I can't find any rule saying that you can't destroy heaters on turn 1, so likely they are fair game. My problem with Igao though that it seems to be a bit fragile as a single infiltrating camo unit. It may go after the exclusion zone heater, but maybe it's safer to move up a Makaul under smoke.

Maybe, that seems hard to do, and occasionally impossible to prevent (like moving under smoke, then you only have mines left).

Looking though the new classifieds, there seem to be quite a few hacker ones now, and even one that can be done with a sensor. I'm really thinking of trying Aelis Keesan for a bit as she actually seems tempting now. If I can only get over the 30 points for a single wound model.

Gao-Rael spitfire may now be a go to gunner for me in season 10 as well.

Shes tempting in the same way hitchhiking when you break down in the middle of a desert is, its really your only option other than a slow death.

Keesan has a strange mix of abilities. Because she has sensor plus a KHD she can be an absolute nightmare to infiltrating hackers. Her main draw back is that of any Hacker that starts on the table in that she is a known threat, and can be dealt with by a surprise hack from an enemy KHD or anything with a gun. The ability to cyber mask can circumvent this to some degree, but only if you go first or your opponent does not take her out in the first turn.

At least enemy KHD can't kill her through our repeater net, because we have no repeater net. Because of that, your opponent has to put a lot of effort in hunting her down.

Or a repeater/Pitcher in her ZoC... Or use the repeaters built in the scenario (if any) :p

I'm not sure what you are implying, but she is not the only option for anything other then a killer hacking device. What she is, however is multi purpose...

I actually like the look of the strange mix given how Season 10 looks with classifieds and missions. She has both a sensor and a hacking device so she can solve multiple issues at one time as well as possibly deal with camo in a triad, even a good gunner in a pinch with the Viral combi and decent BS. Cyber mask further adds, IMO, to the utility as she could break from the triad, walk into the open and push a button or get to an objective in a pinch. I agree that she could be ambushed by a hidden KHD, but hacking seems to be pretty low in the circles I play. A hacker is needed for some missions or at least handy for others, and I'd personally rather have her then a Kamel hacker which is really just there to say you have a hacker.

No only would we not have to worry about a repeater network, we also have nullifiers if you are that worried. I almost always have at least 1-2 in a list anyway.

Thats exactly what I am implying, if you need a hacker she is the only choice, and she is pretty ordinary for anything else compared with all our alternatives. I have never needed sensor as makauls can solve that problem pretty bluntly, and chaska have it for far cheaper. Again if you need to get to an objective a 13 point makaul in the triad gives you the best vis mods in the game, and its more reliable than cybermask is.

I agree a bit with not needing the sensor as I absolutely love my Makauls. What I am saying about the utility of her with sensor is there is now a classified that can only be completed by MSV or Sensor. I don't often have many MSV models anyway, so having a back-up or even her as a main use to complete this classified.

Just so much utility now in a single triad model. I do agree though that Chaska are so much cheaper for the sensor roll, but the problem I have been running into with that is that I don't often move them forward during the game, then when I need the sensor, I'm spending 2-3 orders or even more just to get into position to be useful. Having it with a triad model may not be as points efficient, but for how I have been playing, would be more orders efficient. I am still quite new to Infinity and Tohaa, so perhaps that is a bad play issue instead though?

Much stronger specific specialist bonus, +3Wip, 2 rolls and +3 to Xenotech WIP rolls.

More incentive to use AD: Combat jump means I want a buff for that and a defence against it.

I've just started painting my Kameal WHD.

    This season is crazy.

I've used Aelis and she is an auto include for me for Highly Classified. I would say being about to complete 11-12 out of the objectives is crucial.

My issue with including her outside of HC is that she's competing with some other great / more durable units Sukeul FO or Kosuil. Having said that her toolkit is very unique and I'm experimenting with taking her more consistently. She is brutal with a Nimbus Plus zone and triangulated fire and it's not something that people are expecting. I wish she had a jammer + KHD though :P

That's a pretty cool idea actually. Very slightly gimmicky, but cool. I wonder if it's ever worth trying with chaksa pistols? (Probably not because of the burst if nothing else)

    Hello.
Question about Biotechvore mission. In confused deployment conditions should I make wip-3 roll to use MI advanced deploy bonus, granted by ITS season rules?

It is PHYS, but Yes. Because you are using the forward deployment skill granted to MI in Season 10, and the Biotechvore deployment rules state that you must make a PHYS-3 check to deploy outside of your deployment zone, (which is only 8", or 10cm).
That said it is totally worth trying, as the only consequence of failure is that you do not get to deploy the unit outside of your deployment zone.
