Hahaha it almost does sound like Lou... But there is abother syllable, "lu," that actually is "Lou." The i in "liu" is pronounced, but not emphasized.
I had to check to make sure they spelled Lui Kang the way I remembered. They did. I'm disappointed in you, Midway Games
Eeeeeh.... not a big fan of the new Joan. Her hairpiece is too big, her tabard/robe/whatever looks strange and the pose looks more floaty than running because the leg she is standing on is too straight. I prefer the old mobility one and my regular Joan after the Umbra-ectomy. Aleph bots are a big conundrum for me. I like them a lot, but I also like the old ones a lot... Dakini are awesome though. Especially like the sniper.
The injection tabs on the Dakini render made it look like CB took a design influence from Digital Extreme's corrupted. Spoiler: Ignore the ugly face, look at the halo
I foresee 11 old secundary objectives (the classic 10 plus kidnapping) and 9 new ones, in a 40 cards deck.
Those would need to be on the book, considering how all cards are numbered from 01 to 40, you could issue 4 "faction objectives" in the ITS document (or the mission itself) the players may/must exchange one of the drawed ones for... *hint hint @HellLois
I REALLY love this idea...may implement this as a replacement for kidnapping in a Campaign. Draw Kidnapping, replace with your factions mission.
It would also be a nice balancing tool. Playing Ariadna I end up with secure hvt quite a bit because I draw hacker classified objectives.
If they really want to make it cool, they put the alternative missions all in the deck. After buying you put the ones aside, which are not your faction. I am a bit annoyed by my obvious looking-at-the-page-where-KIDNAPPING-is-explained.
That would make the objectives fixed for all ITS seasons in which the deck is valid, and make them not optional at all. Here the idea is to choose, when you draw them, if you do the card or the "factional" objective. If you (like I do) use sleeves with the cards, it is possible to print the optional objective and place it over the art, so you can see both the original text and the optional one.
Let me inform you that the Army Android App is finally updated with Tunguska sectorial and the profiles from Coldfront & the Advance Pack: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=infinity.army.mobile
I would be curious how you pulled that off. I too thought the Umbra ruined an otherwise awesome sculpt, but I couldn't figure out a good way to remove the Umbra without leaving an ugly scar, outside my ability to fix. In the end, I just passed on the model.
We will not be forgotten! BTW, does anyone remember the ship date for the Coldfront? i can't remember or find it anywhere.
