Is the example list in the MO thread (https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...m-et-sequere-me-300pts-box-wip-08-07-18.1098/) compliant with your interesting analysis of the role a massed HI + TAG army could look like?

And what does your "7 HI MO list" look like?

Bandits are pretty legit as far as KHDs go though, cheap as chips too.

Interesting ideas on the support core, not going to say I dislike it, i think youve made good points, id certainly lean towards the alguaciles myself personally but youve put good thought into it.

Im not sure id take mcdoggo in that list though, i feel like hed want to eat the orders youd prefer to spend elsewhere.

It's mostly the Irregular that hurts Bandits as a supporting hacker. However getting a shotgun and CC adds a lot.

Alguaciles are good but they eat up my SWC unless I can manage an Intruder Lt. and they're easy to chew up if something gets to them. Also it's really hard for me to get an AHD if I don't have Wildcats, I'd probably have to take an unlinked one.

I don't get a ranged option with a support Core but Intruders cover that really well already, and if I do have the Dog I can take advantage of the smoke.

My experience using McM as a supporter for Wildcat Core hasn't had that problem, I usually just use his Impetuous and Irregular unless there's a lot of need for him that turn. I think he can have a different play style outside of Ariadna because of how Correg is set up.

The best alternative is Massacre, possibly in Haris, who adds eclipse as another bonus. I always have smoke because of Jags but getting them down can't be free from Impetuous and 15% less likely to make it (unless linked). Bandits cover CC so it's possible to drop McM.

I sat down to see what I could brianstorm for a CJC list that gets the most out of an iguana in my opinion and this is what I came up with.
Though I think vanilla still probably gets more out of the Iguana than CJC due to stronger support hackers (who are more fragile in direct combat).

It's hilarious that there are only 4 sectorials without KHD.

3 of which don't exactly have hackable models xD

+Tohaa, which has a KHD, but not much hacking. Tohaa should be non-hackable all over. And maybe make their engineers hackers for mission reasons.

Not getting alerts on this for some reason.
It's all relative. Also I was saying most MSV targets I would want the WN mod against are Core anyways, except the Haris on Morats or Atalanta.

As far as Bandit goes you'll never see someone like it more that I do. But Iguana is available in 3 factions that I all play so I have to compare them. That being said Druze Core can put an AHD and KHD and give pitchers for the Iguana. But Corregidor is my babe.

@daboarder If I wanted to do a second HMG do you think Intruder or Brigada would be more helpful? The W and MOV of Brigada might help keep up and support the Iguana.

    Intruder.
Pair it up with jags as order generators
And it offers the threat of being an msr

MSR is my go-to when I use him with a small second group, which will probably be the case if I have an Iguana.

Still undecided on getting another ARO with the Panzerfaust Jag in a Haris or McMurrough, but I own the Jags so I might start with that. But it's still Gecko season anyways, just talking about it cuz it came up.

Don't get me wrong, only really useful in direct action missions, but I'd be interested to hear what people think. The Evo Hacker could probably morph into a TOFOOS for more button pushing with a bit of jiggling, buy it feels like it presents some very unpleasant options for an opponent.

EDIT: Not quite sure why it is showing double aux bots on the Seraph, but the costing seems to be correct still. I think it's an error and it should be the crabbot.

Maybe it would be good to have a look at the Interplanetario tables and talk about how to run a TAG on disadvantageous terrain.

And that list won in a game of Show of Force, but barely. Two Seraphs completely failed to take down a O-Yoroi... which is my own fault for getting tunnel vision, but I realised quite quickly that there was no real anti-tag punch in the list. Two seraphs, whilst very surprising, and probably quite good when not expected, is not great if you are expecting tags. It did gut his order pool quite quickly though, and I was pleased that I restrained myself and didn't really overextend them until maybe the final turn. 6/10. Fun as a one off, but wouldn't run again.

@AdmiralJCJF I actually own the Antenocitis Forward base stuff that the top table was using, and we were running using it tonight. I tend to build boards that are have two or three story buildings (or something big enough for tags to hide behind), so it tends to not be an issue for me, but some of those boards did look quite challenging. I am also looking forward to your impending White Noise slot!

    Yeah, that table looked awesome.

And *some* of the tables were excellent, but there seemed to be a disproportionately large number which I REALLY wouldn't want to run a TAG on... despite a format which encouraged TAG use (or, at least, didn't punish it).

It's amazing to play over. Especially being able to use the interior of the buildings. I built a load of forests recently as well, so we use those in conjunction with the set, and it makes for an insanely immersive board.

It's tables like some of those interplanetario ones that make me so thankful that pano does do silhouette 5 heavy infantry. I always shudder when I see people asking for it on the forums, as I love the fact that we cram it into silhouette 2 models, and boards like that really vindicate it.

Yeah, I'll know that CB have totally abandoned any semblance of design asthetic the day we get a S5 HI for PanOceania.

Well... unless it's got TAG stats, but then that'd step ALL OVER Yu Jing, so I hope that doesn't happen.

People whom nobody cares about. Space hobos who may not even be in space. People without technology. Like Ariadna or Haqqislam (let's just ignore their biotechnology for a moment here, that doesn't count).

Wait... so if S5 is for Ateks... where does that leave Yu Jing? We're slated to receive our third S5 HI alongside IA.
