The new rule "reduced combat groups" of season 9 state that it is not possible to nullify two Orders from the Order Pool of the opponent using a Command Token if the opponent has a single combat group. The tricky thing is: if I have a single combat group in open information and a second with a single TO or AD troop. How does my opponent know that I have a second combat group and, thus, that he can use the Command Token? Do I have to tell him and, therefore, lose the advantage of the "surprise"? Thanks for the help guys!
Number of combat groups is open information. Camouflaged state only makes information about that trooper private.
I am confused then because in the courtesy list there is a single combat group, and the second does not appear therefore I thought it was private information. Do you have a reference to give me? Thank you.
Army has a few quirks, particularly with regards to Private Information where it some cases it hides Open Information and some cases reveals Private Information. http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Open_and_Private_Information That is an exhaustive list of private information, Combat Groups are not in there.
