So the question arose in the Nomads section of the forum. Are Tomcats allowed to have a g: servant Zondbot if they use AD? Is it inactive until they come onto the table, or is it no legal and we are left with Zondcats? It would be a good use of spare 3 points to put a Zondbot near a sniper nest for example.
The G:Servent deployment rule forces them to deploy at the same time as the doctor/eng as if they were a single trooper. G: Servant: Deployment G: Servant troopers will be deployed at the same time their Doctor/Engineer is deployed as if they were a single trooper. You don't have any option to deploy them seperately. A tomcat who chose to use Zero-G can have a Zondbot.
Does that mean that a G: Servant can be placed anywhere in your own deployment zone when you choose to bring on the AD trooper that controls them, or that you cannot deploy the G: Servant at all and it never arrives on the table? Or neither...?
ZondBots have no deployment skills that would allow them to be deployed anytime else than during the deployment phase. Thus the Tomcat Doc/Eng would be forced to dismiss his/her AD.
If you use the AD of the tomcat you cannot have a zondbot. The only G servant you can take to do this is the Zondcat If you want your tomcat to use a zondbot you have to deploy without using your AD skill (like any other trooper)
