I would love if we had a special medevac antipode to go and fetch casualties for the doc :P. As to the differences between the 112 and Kazak Doc: 112 has Phys 12, a Light Shotgun, CCW, V:Courage, and no ARM while the Doc has a Rifle, Knife, and 1 ARM. Always thought it was interesting that the 112 does not have a knife at all. Also, with regards to people saying 112 will not be in TAK I think they actually will be since the logo has Cyrillic letters in it. Not great evidence mind you but I like having two doctors at the same time.
the lore answer is: In Haqqislam they have so many doctors not only because they have the most advanced bio-medical facilities in the Human Sphere but also because they value the lives of their troops and so will put more effort into keeping everyone alive. Its slightly different in Rodina, where life is precious due to its relative scarcity and everyone you save today is someone who can better protect society tomorrow which puts preference on getting good medical training for those serving in their most numerous infantry units - the Line Kazaks. the game answer: Haqq has at least five units that have linkable units with Doctor or Doctor Plus, and in units with Doctor range from SK to HI, with higher WIP and with a good amount of units that have cubes, greatly increasing their chances of survival. Ariadna has two doctors, ones essentially an armed and angry EMT, the other is for stats purposes a Line Kazak with the Doctor skill and V:Courage so giving one doctor who is nigh indistinguishable from the unit i'm saying he can theoretically be put in shouldn't be making anyone cry rivers of blood. Also the Reverend Healer-Killer can join either Core or Haris links with her sisters and i don't remember anyone in Haqqislam wailing and gnashing there teeth over it. if he gets a puppy then yes.
I'll repeat the question: why should TAK be the ONLY non-Haqq sectorial with linkable docs? Your justifications are hilarious: in Rodina life is precious, and in other regions it is not? And Kazak doctor is the same than every other faction line troopers Doc profiles, so nothing special there neither.
For me, making the Line Kazak Doctor non-linkable isn't to preserve Haqq's--it's to be a detriment to TAK. They're already going to have an obscene number of Engineers, thanks to Frontoviks. I don't think they need anything else that would be a good, linkable specialist type.
Because they aren't Bankunin already has a linkable Doctor and last i checked they're Nomads, and because they have a unit that can, with little to no effort be slotted into what is going to be a link-team. look if you don't want it that fine, just stop acting like i'm taking a piss on there dinner and asking them to eat it.
The StarCo Daktari also says hello. From a team with 3 HI and a Mercenary with regeneration. Also, Knights Hospitalizers. Bipandra. Machaon and Dactyls...
That wasn't your original question, again if you don't want it fine, don't go changing the requirements because you've been proven wrong.
I'm still waiting for your answer to my original question ;-) Hard to be proving wrong when you just ignored my question. Why, lorewise or gamewise, should TAK have a linkable doctor from their base troops when nobody else has? Lorewise it makes no sense as TAK doesn't have any background with any emphasis on doctors, gamewise it makes no sense as the Kazak Doctor is the exact same than all the other doctors for the rest of the basic troopers. You're just wishlisting, but for some reason seem to feel entitled to get your wishlisting come true.
What, why TAK should be the only one with a linkable doc outside of Haqqislam? thats been answered, they aren't. Bakunin and Starco have linkable doctors so its rare but not unprecedented.
Lack of cubes means immediate triage is more important to TAK, other armies have access to such links with sometimes less fluff justification and a heavier effect of the game. Oh, and the 112 is the only other doctor so other Ariadna forces just lack medical peeps. That's why they don't get links. What's your definition of basic trooper, then? Cos if it's AVA Total, bad news on the Myrmidon front...
you know it makes it hard to answer a question when you keep editing after i start responding right? I have given you both explanations, your refuse to accept them as valid, but just because you don't like them does not mean i (and others) haven't given you an answer. and yes i was wishlisting but i'm willing to say if CB decideds they don't they don't get it i'm fine with that I just think it'd be neat if they did.
Wait, Haqq's only linkable Doctor is the Kaplan, that's not a line trooper. Everything else is a Doctor+ or Akbar Doctor, they're different skills!
You know there are more cubeless basic troopers, right? Like Keitsotsu Basic troopers are just that, the cheapo order monkeys every faction gets, the bread and butter. For Aleph, those are Dakinis, Myrmidons and specially Knights are elite units... I could concede Myrmidons are as close as it gets to basic mooks, but strangely they don't have a Myrmidon Doctor to link with, only Machaon. Go figure, all the linkable doctors outside Haqq are elite shit, who would have thought it? Anyway, I'm not hijacking the thread any more with this endless back and forth. P.D: I'm not editing my posts to get some kind of imagined advantage on your imagined war, I just remember things I didn't write but you seem to be just F5ing this thread so you can keep arguing.
