Shasvastii modified for deep cover work inside the Human Sphere. In Acontecimiento, where the Alive group started their thing... So she's no "human-shasvastii" merc, she is a Shasvastii like a Cadmus or a Speculo, on a permanent identity and with local gear (to an extent... she still carries some viral weapons).
I'm pretty sure she got the Viral weapons from the same "Friendly Akash's discount guns and marital aids" that the Druze got theirs from.
So, as expected yadu have lot of FT choices. Is a full core FT a good option in your opinion ? Any idea of a competitive list with it?
Hard to judge yet, as we don't know the exact fireteam composition (aside from the obvious fact that Shakti will be in). If we'll be able to include Remotes or other units it'll change the possible tactics quite a bit. Full Core will be expensive as hell, so I expect them to get more use as a Haris or single troopers in other links. But if I'd want to make it work, and assuming Yadu+Shakti alone, I'd probably go with a Swiss Army Knife approach: Shakti, HRL, MRifle, N2, FO. It's 175/2, so it's obvious that we have to plan the whole list around it. Apparently this is OSS's equivalent of a HI deathstar.
Apparently fluff includes her being instrumental in Uprising by hacking YJ's stuff and falsifying reports, leaking intel, etc. PanO HQ are like, "Wow, nice work... Would you like a job?" I do feel that the studio painted model is a complete fail though. She just looks like a green Ariadnan. They should have done something more interesting with the cloak, or kept the red/grey camo scheme from the dossier.
Nah, PanO is like "low profile smuggler from Acontecimiento, nothing to see here, next!". I doubt they even noticed her XD As for the gear, well, it would seem like it's some sort of surplus old army gear of sorts, since the Bandits from Corregidor got something in the same line for the jackets (they have "long fingers" though... but she smuggles... so...), in a way it looks believable, but I agree it could have been much better.
I feel like the OP made an error in their reasoning. It is a good thing to analyze unit capability in isolation from the rest of the force, for sure. So I can understand their comparison to the Bolts. But this analysis does not take into consideration the unit's synergy with the rest of the force in which they will fight. It seems to me that the Yadu do shore up some of the weaknesses OSS had before. Since Aleph cannot have Bolts, there is no point to seeing how well they would synergize with Aleph. An effective force is not merely about the utility of each individual, but about how they all work together.
I got one question, because of some Posts. If I take shakti to perform a Yadu Haris, do I need a trooper with Fireteam haris special skill? If Not, why is it like that? Thx
