Yeah, I understand very well that feeling. I tried always play what I really like before what someone says "only this works". It is the magic of the game and the challenge, perfom a strategy and go to the victory with it. We go a little far of the real topic here. I think we made a lot of pretty examples of list wich the ORCs could work, I hope that Varuna brings news ways to use the ORCs and not the same as we can play in the others sectorials or in generic. Maybe with profiles only availables in Varuna, wich is really Ok to me. The differences of style are what I love of the sectorials.
So some people think that the Orc´s are hot shit, some think they are good, non can let the situation to rest and some look the 3 pages dumpster-fire of toxicity and patronizing and want to go back to talking Varuna. Soooooooooooooooooooooo, apparently IA is getting a S5 HI a la Dayokai but (according to the fluff of the Dayokai) better, first S5 HI of a tech faction (bio freaks from Haqq and REM cats with HI rules not counting). With the new information that it can happen, do you guys expect us to get one in Varuna? can be a nice way of not giving us a new TAG or a Guard HI. (there, new topic, stop it with the ORC´s, please)

This is IA's second S5 HI after the Yan Huo, presumably something closer to the Daiyokai or Taskmaster rather than another fire support piece.
I’m sceptical that pano will get a super heavy. The father Knight is pano’s version of a super heavy right now. If he had berserk, then I’d even be interested in taking one. I’d like to see a new elite HI for Varuna though. Something that stands apart from the Swiss, aquila, and assault guards. Maybe an ad guard? Or an infiltrating guard? Or a forward deploying, camo, msv 1 guard?...nope. I just need to go play dart more.
The Yan Hao is S5. I would not expect Pan-O to get an S5 HI, but I could see a smaller TAG, which would be an interesting design space.
ORCs aren't so bad. I've had fun with them before! I fully expect them to get an SMG profile in Varuna to fill out a Harris/core I also expect to get an S5 that can link with ORCs, or Kamau. probably a Harris. S5 Heavy Infantry is the new hot shit, we're totally going to get one. CC14 BS15 ARM6 BTS6 PHY14 W2 S5 -Dogged -Mimetism -Aqua Terrain HMG, Feuerbach, HRL/SMG options ~ 65-70 points
