You only fill your additional pouches with 'bo though, replacing all your medical gear for sweets is frowned upon!
They can frown all they want, we'll see who's better off when I'm shoveling handfuls of gummy coke bottles into my mouth during a firefight
This is bologna. The "flavor" for both Sectorials seems to be shooting and defense, but Kazaks are probably going to end up doing it better since there's more camo options in there. Then give them Sapper and boost their points up accordingly. Because Marauders are supposed to be patterned off Merrill's Marauders, which was known for having combat engineers and demolitions in their ranks? Oh please. Giving hypothetical non-Dozer Engineers access to a Traktor Mul Control Device isn't going to be the death knell of the Dozer. It actually frees up the other Dozer profiles to be used, since Dozers are AVA1 for USARF but AVA2 for CHA and MRRF. It doesn't have to make sense to you. It doesn't make sense to me that the Kazaks are getting a stealthy recon unit like the Streloks when the Hardcase would have been more appropriate for TAK and a Strelok-esque unit for the USARF. It doesn't make sense to me that the Frontoviks are packing all these high end weapons and having an Engineer profile while USARF literally has the backing of a DARPA-esque organization. It doesn't make sense to me that the Spetsnaz got two different 'styles' of profiles while Marauders are restricted to a single one. It doesn't make sense to me that Tankhunters are getting a Chain of Command option. It doesn't make sense to me that USARF, a force that combats Antipode incursions and Human Sphere incursions in the Ariadnan Exclusion Zone fairly regularly, didn't get Autocannons in their arsenal. And it most DEFINITELY makes no sense to me that there's such a plethora of flipping Marksman Rifles in TAK when everyone kept trying to tell me they'd be a "short-ranged" faction back in the day. But it doesn't have to make sense to me. It just had to make sense to whoever wrote the lists. Hopefully someone at CB sees that they seemed to have 'flipped the script' when it comes to USARF being the long-ranged defensive army with some units that can do shorter ranges and TAK being the shorter ranged army with long-range options too.
Mhm... Automedkit for the Minuteman? Since every Model has a First Aid Pack, but they don't have a Paramedic Profile it would make some kind of sense (well... more than a DA CCW Wrench)?
It just means that the 112 doesn't have to carry as many sticking plasters, ibuprofen, and lollipops because the Minuteman carry their own. That axe gets heavy don't you know?
Hey, when I get on a tear about something...I get on a tear. I've had ideas cooking with regards to USARF(nothing brutally OP, just some quality of life improvements) for quite some time. I mean, at one point I was going to advocate for twin autocannons on a Devil Dog because why the hell not. :)
@colbrook At least it would help if they go down in a bad spot for out Doc Fireaxe... and it would cost way less Orders (on the same Roll than our 112)
I think Marauders are pretty fine, every profile brings something neat and having an entire link with FD: 1 is really cool. Minuteman could do with a little boost though, they're currently OK but not great.
Totally meant to say Minutemen. Having the UKR available as a 6th fireteam member would make the fireteam more durable. You could have the missile launcher aroing, and if it gets taken out still blitz up with a 5 man fireteam.
I'm actually a fan of giving the Minutemen 'alternate' profiles ala Spetsnaz and the Scots-Guard--a bit more utility rather than just throwing them as a fireteam. UKR I'd rather see with Grunts. Rosie goes into the stack with Bipandra for me, personally. Huge missed opportunity for a "Bucky" to UKR's "Cap" I felt.
That isn't going to fix them. MM are a dud profile. They are basically a straight combat unit that isn't significantly better against most targets thanks the other options in the faction. Marauders are basically better in every other way. FD1 doesn't quite replace 4-4 but reduced price stealth and dogged more than makes up for it. With USA you have enough orders to get past 4-2 anyway when you are looking for a killling team. The only real reason to have a link with them is the AP HMG, which is better suited on the Blackjack alone verse wasting tons of points on a full link. Adding the the UNK just gives you are another profile with a molotok at best, which is not significantly better than the AP HMG. Its 144 points as well. The UNR has another problem in that he is basically just an inferior Vet kazak. He kind of needs to be buffed slightly so he operates better on his own. At least give him shock immune.
I almost never take the Minutemen Link, because Marauders are just a so much better deal. They would need a serious boost like ARM+1 or NWI or something that makes them more durable or interesting.
