Even if you cannot stick the Haidao into every link, just having HI doc and engineer (plus other support items) is really useful. Pinyin is the roman-letter transcription of the Chinese characters. CB has screwed up the pinyin before, the Hac Tao being the poster child for this. "Black Magic" is Hei Mofa in Mandarin, and "Black Way/Path" would be Hei Dao. Hac Tao is starting to pop up in searches for "Black Way" (or Black Magic), but it's Cantonese, not Mandarin.
Useful, yes, but I feel like unless it brings something serious besides HI toughness, a Zhanshi Gongcheng/Yisheng would be the better choice (thanks to helper REMs) Although in the near future where a pan-Chinese-made-pan-Asian empire has existed for a few hundred years pushing the directive of a Yujingse language rather than regional languages, nothing says the distinction between Cantonese and Mandarin would still remain. It's perfectly possible, in fact very likely, that the two have become mangled together and you'd find Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, and Korean words co-existing in the same language.
Let's be honest, this is somehting YJ should excel at, with IA being the posterboy for their HI prowess ;)
Yea, but I'm not sure about have all in a link at the same time: doctor+engi+deflector ;) 2 out of 3 seems ok though ;) Also I'm not going to say to IA that the cannot have a nice/better HI ;P I'm well aware of PanO limitations ;P (though probably IA will make me as MO player a tad sad :P)
Ehh, now we're invading other faction' threads and talk about PanO. We need more news to fuel the speculations :P
With AVA T and linkable to anything in any number, sure, but I'd expect Haidao to have AVA close to 3 and at most two Haidao to be linkable in a non-Haidao Fireteam, maybe only one and it'd still be good.
Yep. IA probably should be able to throw HI specialist (of choice) into most HI links. Curiosity question: is IA rumored to have any TAGs or TAG-equivalents (alongside Sui-Juan) ?
If the artwork for IA is any indication... the Guijas will be there. Su-Jians though... I would be rather very surprised if CB decided to let Su-Jians into IA, but honestly... do we REALLY need another sectorial with Su-Jian Duos? Do we really? I'd say AVA 1 Su-Jian at best, but even then it's very doubtful.
I'm Just guessing but this troop might be key to some special fireteams. I hope it has engineer profiles, being the main of the sectorial extremely vulnerable to isolation, inmovilized, etc... we need a capable advancing engineer. The doctor... well, It would be fresh and Juicy, but I don't think so. I've also heard rumors of a second TAG for invincible, but who knows, rumors are rumors. And I don't think IA will see the main star of an already known sectorial. So no Su-jian on invincible
Hmm, what? I haven't heard anything about a different TAG for IA. Only other Yu Jing TAG rumour I've heard is for White Banner. Please tell me more
I don't understand the reasoning for this at all. Why would the Su-Jian NOT be in with IA? Just because of a color of logo? If that were the case, Hac Tao and Tigers woudl be in there too. They are HI, with all the bells and whistles. If they should be anywhere it should be in IA. In fact it doesn't make sense to have huge, expensive, very killer, troop in ISS. Aren't they supposed to be police types? the Su-Jian is not a "takem alive" type troops. And yes we need it! I'll take all we can get! I want more like him. But this isn't a Su-Jian thread, sorry. I think Hai Dao are going to be guys I use just because I think they look cool but so far, just by the images I think he's going to full a nice spot.
My reasoning for that involves three things: 1. I don't think CB want to make the sectorials have a lot of overlap between themselves. 2. Even though the ISS are technically the ''police types'', that still implies things like quote unqoute ''SWAT teams''. Or any other title you could call them, really. Since the ''police force'' ( I'd prefer calling them more so a mixture of law enforcement and secret police, TBH. ) still needs to have somebody reliable to kick in some doors once they get their ''break in and arrest or kill'' warrants on short notice... Yeah, having an expensive, very killer robo-tiger climb the wall of a skyscraper and burst in through a window guns blazing to enact some death penalties still sort of qualifies as a troop that'd be very useful in their field of work. 3. The Su-Jians name and ''design philosophy'' does lead me to believe it to be less of a proper military unit that'd be standard part of the banner armies. Su-Jian Immediate Action Unit sounds like something you'd find in a counter-terrorism/insurgent unit, not an actual proper branch of the military. Then there is the large amount of emphasis in the catalogue/store ''Lore text box'', or whatever you call those, about it's design being heavily made towards their use in urban environments specifically: a place that is still very relevant to the proper military branches, but even more so relevant to the counter-terrorism/insurgency unit, since that's basically 90% of where all their work would normally take place. Granted, I wouldn't be surprised if my reasoning here is pretty shoddy. And don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind Su-Jians being in IA, just that I don't believe or hold any hope they will be in IA, and if they do end up in IA, it'll be a surprise, to be sure, but ultimately a rather pleasant one, even if at AVA 1.
They're a judiciary security organisation, not an investigative law enforcement. Essentially made for crimes where warrants are too slow. They're not there to arrest the mafia and gather evidence for their trials, they're there to kill anyone of the mafia's goons who gets it into their heads to jailbreak the boss. Proactively.
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm not the most well spoken of individuals, english being my second language doesn't help that, so I had trouble finding the proper description. Thank you.
