In danger of veering further off topic she's more viable since today's FAQ let her ignore Shock again.
It's not universal, but it is a standard design. Look at the Bagh Mari minis, or Order Sergeants, Hexas, Bolts, etc.
Strangely seems to show up a lot more on female dossiers (male Fusilier dossier doesn’t have it for example).
still too much, otside of spidfire profile she feels all over the place @A Mão Esquerda hope thats the way it goes
I don`t think it is a good idea because Dasyus are better then crocs and will make them useless. Returning to Echo Bravo, while MSV would be nice it is overused theme in Pano, 360 visor would be better. Whatever it is I hope other units won`t get such helmet design XD. Another idea I had: how about Holoproector lvl 2 on Echo Bravo? It would be for opponent harder to guess and it can be used as lvl 1 to distinguish as other AD troops in vanilla.
If that. N2 it was a no-cost thing, you could compare old Invincibles and Wu Ming. Now there's not an easy comparison.
Is that true? Did that finally reverse that horrible ruling? Is there a link so I can read this FAQ? Edit: I found it. Thats great news. My Charontids and Anathematics are back to being worth their points now.
Andromeda aside, the only aleph profile that would really make sense to me is the Danavas... but the Danavas is a bit too good to share, so, IDK.
Well, I still think that there is a decent chance that Varuna might get Agema and Atalanta. Not certain (as it seemed to be before the MSV2 Kamau Sniper), but still a reasonable chance. I'd agree Danavas would also fit well... but may be too optimised to be considered.
I don't think the Agema will show up, but Atalanta probably will. She's a deviation from the norm of the Agema IIRC. Agema are still kind of Myrmidon-esque in their mentalities, she's nothing but cold-hearted killer.
I'd love some kind of Myrmidon for Varuna. They would make the Sectorial perfect for me. Not sure on the likelihood though. Perseus showing up in Tunguska could be a sign either way.
I've beaten this point to death, but I always liked the idea of Atalanta as our MSV2 sniper. Having her detached from ALEPH for some clandestine dirty work is a great theme, though she'd suffer without smoke. The Asura would be interesting. She sits in an interesting niche, priced above ORCs but well below the Cutter. Given how cheap and awesome Varuna's long-range fire support can be (really, the Kamau HMG for a BS13 Mimetic HMG at 1 SWC is a steal) I could see investing in her as a close and mid-range terror. I wonder if she'd be too distracting though. She's a centerpiece mini, so I wonder if she would detract too much from the notion that this is a PanO sectorial.
Atalanta or the Asura as a centerpiece? Cause I'm down for an Atalanta Bootleg, clad in gear to make her look like a Naga or something like that.
Was thinking of the Asura as being too much of a centerpiece for Varuna. I suspect you get why I'd feel that way... It's almost equivalent to having Achilles in another faction's Sectorial. I think ALEPH are meant to offer support roles, both in the lore and in practical in-game terms, so getting something that expensive kind of dilutes the theme of the Sectorial a bit. Atalanta I'm down for though, and I'd love to see her in that Black Ops Naga uniform you're describing. She seems like exactly the kind of role that an ALEPH auxiliary should fill, both in terms of lore and gameplay. I'd be tempted to use the new Cold Front Naga Sniper for her, in that case. That's a lovely miniature.
There are other troops in support duty in Aleph : Thorakitai, Dactyls, Sophotect, Apsaras... Or maybe we could receive a Yadu at AVA1 or a Shukra? All the stuff the allied sectorials to Aleph received so far didn't exceeded 45 pts (Drakios) so, while I' love to see the Asura in Varuna, there is little chance that our beloved Aleph let us borrow her most loved dolls. But gaining access to stuff like Andromeda (which could be great in PanO even if some complain about her) and Dactyls would be very nice. Plus it could be a way to get the sells of those "not loved that much" units a way to shine.
