Theres only 2 or 3 things in the gane that coild truke be considered broken. And those things are limited by the factions as a whole and the design of the game with essentially 3 points costs in pts swc and ava
To be fair if they are play testing a whole new sectorial and hopefully the place its units take in vanilla, wouldn't that be a good place to do some other big changes to save time later and reduce the redundancy that pano has?
Bolts also get a points increase. There aren't enough goats on this planet. Sorry. I've done it with ~270 before (forgot to drop in my Tiger! ), and I'm hardly a stellar player. Well, looks like YJ is getting an ARM3 HI support regiment, which showed D-Charges on the dossier. So you might be able to not detonate the YJ forums if PanO also got some HI engineers. Examples, por favor?
The deadline is what I am talking about. Asura might simply have the updated cost for a kit she doesn't have yet so a List stays legal for Interplanetartio. You'd simply get a last minute "free buff" if the update hits before the tournament. Although you are right and it could be added utility cost we don't agree with like for the Zayedan.
If they were planning to add something to Asura in November they could've simply update the cost in November as well. I think it's either a mistake or like you've said, an utility cost.
Are we still wishlisting? I don't care how they do it: I need a reason to use all 9 Bolt models. CB plez.
Play full Bolt Core in the Rescue and use other 4 as a "civilians needed to be rescued from CB nerf-bat" ?;D
Shock/Viral immunity is a lot more valuable, if you have NWI. Without it, shock immunity doesn't do anything, unless you have a doctor walk there and pick you up. With NWI shock/bio immunity gives you another W for a discount, with no HI drawbacks (hackable+IMM for E/M), that's a huge difference. I don't exactly have the statistics, but Red Fury is usually cheaper than a Spitfire SWC wise. That's the point of it, being a budget Spitfire due to decreased damage (and a free shock ammo). Looking for examples to prove my point: Bounty hunter 1SWC Spitfire, 0.5SWC Red fury (while Pheasants and Krakots have 1SWC RF). Xeodron has 1SWC Red Fury, while a Spitfire is usually 2SWC on a TAG (see Seraph, Sphinx). Raktorak is an MI with Red fury for 1SWC, while Spitfire is usually 1.5SWC on an MI. So in conclusion Red Fury tends to be around 1SWC, below Spitfire price.
Yes I get you, but lists had to be submitted to CB before the Asura went live. they DID update her after the deadline, no one at Interplanetario is going to be able to run an Asura HD+ MR because the profile didnt exist before the deadlink for inter lists
He's saying that some things that would be incredibly broken if they weren't heavily limited by points / ava / swc.
No he is saying some things are broken but okay to have for the Faction they're in due to other limitations. Namely overall SWC, point and AVA balance. If Haqq is bad enough that Mutts need to be AVA 4 and 5 points or Aleph is bad enough it needs Posthumans as ridiculously cheap as they are is another question.
Mostly what tesla said. But i dont think they are bad and need them. Im justvsaying the structure of the game does a good job of limiting the impact of such units. Ie they are bad but could be worse
But this ML is cooler than the one on the Magisters. And the old ML (like the on on the old Swiss) is also good. And just now I realized that these bolts are new sculpts with old weapons.
I'm really hoping for some kind of Bolts revision. Even if its just a 2 point cost discount, I'd take it. Bolts need all the help they can get. The minis are so stylish but the stats are so mediocre.
Well, Combi+Light Shotgun now costs 2pts less than it did (see Aragoto) and Drop Bears now cost 2pts less than they did (see Raoul etc.). So there's a good chance that Bolts will, at least, see some points reductions.
Maybe? I mean, it's just as likely that it's "totally not a hand adjustment, just a unique formula element that only applies to this one unit".
