Anyway... Anyone else feel like the delaying of the sectorial list might be caused by some profiles not being finalized? I have heard that it was because they wanted to update Army with OS, TAK and Varuna in one go, but I feel like that's a bit of a cop-out. It would have been great if people could have played OS and TAK at Interplanetario
Interplanetario lists were due July 30th so even if they released at Gencon they couldn't have been played.
In short, yes. There was also a delay after the reveal of TJC before its profiles hit Army, I chalked that up to the same thing. We know CB have a lot of balls in the air at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they're allowing themselves a bit of extra time to ensure that they get things right the first time around rather than risking mistakes that'll need correcting. Obviously, I could be wrong, but I can't see another good reason for it. *shrugs*
TJC was delayed post reveal because it wasn't in folks hands. Once the "official" street/release/in our hot little hands date arrived, that's when it was uploaded. OperationS and TAK won't be widely available until September, which is when they'll likely hit Army, just as Snake Eaters won't hit Army until it's available to the public.
Bostria was being cagey about TAKOS release dates at Gencon, he suggested a couple of times that they might be held until the November Army update to coincide with Beyond Coldfront and Varuna.
Any word on the fluff for the Ratnik? Im kinda interested if he and the Blackjack are from the same Projekt or where they two different projekts leading to a somewhat "same" Unit (tech wise).
That's all the information I can readily find. I would not be surprised that the Ratnik is 'coopted' plans given the whole conflicts and the nonsense of TAK having a huge intelligence agency.
