Hey guys, just as the title states, I’m curious if anyone has made a fun list using TWO szalamandras in the JCT. Personally, I couldn’t believe the AVA was set at two, but if it’s real I think it could be a fun list to play. :3

I like that list. But, I'm thinking Puppet Master over Heckler for Counter Intelligence due to the low order count. The heckler's goal is to address problem pieces for the Salamanders that they can't pound into submission from the DZ. We have two gigantic beat sticks in the salamanders, so he's a tiny attempt to balance the bashing with some stabbing. I'm not sure what the puppet master brings to the table... the way it's set up you kinda have to spend all your orders on TAGs.
My reasoning was the counter intelligence. It inhibits the opponent from stripping two orders from you on turn one if you go first. Since this is a 10 order list every order counts. Is that the wrong investment?
I'd definitely want an engineer for repairs and fixing immob. Not 100% on the Grenzer but I figure it's a linked specialist and the sensor net with transductors will be worth it for anti camo. Keep in mind your szaly pilots have KHDs too, so they can dismount and make use of the repeater coverage too. Let's be honest though, this is a gimick list on par with 4 geckos. This is a good point considering that you can never change your lists between matches as rules change.
Did OP specify that they were playing ITS? That they were going to be able to assemble and paint their list for play in under a Month (ie before S10 hits)? I don't think it is unwarranted to challenge someone's preconceptions based on the current season having <30 days to go.
Are we sure TAGs are even allowed in his ruleset? Maybe there's always exclusion zones out to the DZ, that would make Hecklers worse.
Wow. Sorry about that guys! My intent was not to get wrapped up around the rules like that. I thought the reduction in orders was part of the game. You see, the buddy who I play with is a bit rusty. So, a lot of it is from memory. We talked last week and he stated he made many mistakes in our last game. My intent was just to bring light to the two Szalamandras and cool lists people could make. :D
That's how most people think about it including myself. You didn't do anything wrong. We just felt like arguing.
What do you think about the followibg list : Warcor to give his order if needed with command token, 2 securitate feuerbach in ARO (full core team), 2 bots with clockmaker to cover the field and 1 paramedic in FT to try to heal feuerbach or push button. hey! I like this one, maybe I would switch paramedic, warcor and one zonbot for second 8pts zond, and hope for doing mission only with pilots ;) and since I have both old and new Szalamandras (painted) I am really tempting to play this list ;)
