I believe that Gen Con is in early August. Will the Tournament allow Smoke and Mirrors characters in the 8 character rosters?
I consider SE qualitatively superior to assault in terms of an enjoyable mission. Smoke and Mirrors yes, "From the Shadows" no.

Congrats to @Plebian and the Infinity Warcors getting prepared for Gencon. I am not attending but I saw at the event website that not only that the Tournament is sold out for its two 6 hour slots but eight of nine two hour introductory sessions to demo Aristeia are already sold out. I have made application to be a Warcor for Aristeia only and hope to demo the game at the Las Vegas Open in February. I am keenly interested in how things go next week.
What can the Forum Community learn from the Gencon Tournament that will begin in a few hours? Will the eight team roster that each player chooses be available? Will four character teams for various scenarios be available? How about the Tactics cards chosen? I imagine it is too much to expect that some games will be video recorded like Steamforged,Inc does with Guild Ball.

I think it is wonderful that @jakata would travel from Barcelona to Indianapolis to play. When I tell my friends why I will travel to Barcelona to play Aristeia! they will truly be dumbfounded! Actually I hear there are many other reasons to visit Barcelona such as Gaudi and Camp Nou.
Thank you so much for coming out! You were an absolute pleasure to have at our tables. I'll probably being doing a recap post at some point after I decompress following 5 busy days at the convention but I will tell you I was proud of how ALL of our players handled themselves at the tables at this years show. Great sportsman ship and camaraderie for all.
