Komrades! We have an update in Army; in case you missed it there is a Tankhunter profile wit CoC clocking in at 30/1. The price tage will not break the bank and this way we get an immediate resolution for LoL and a hidden specialist. I personally think he is worth his weight in gold. I consider this guy pretty much an autoinclude just in case my opponent hunts down all my three (3) Line Kazaks (one of them is Lt) or my Tankhunter Lt. What is your take? Autoinclude? Too expensive? Meh? Why not? Garbage? Discuss!
SWC 1 is a high price to pay for CoC. For 1 point less and 0 SWC, I'd rather take the scout LT. Giving you a cheap camo marker LT.
Not an autoinclude, but a tasty choice. Suddenly Van Zant EO or veteran Lt look much more nicer (they already were). This guy have more tricks than the unknown and is CoC in camo. I mean... wow. Laika Dog-Girl Now
My guess is that the 1 SWC is so that you can use it today until it becomes TAK only, same with the K-9 Strelok.
Yep. The 1 SWC feels like a vanilla tax... i don't know if this profile will stay or be TAK exclusive (too lazy to look it up) but i think it could be quite usefull if you want to work with an agressiv lieutenant or Van Zant.
In vanilla there is no doubt CoC is a very valuable skill, and it's a very attractive profile (valuable and attractive enough to take? we'll see) but if it is 1 swc in TAK I would probably never take her As it is, I agree with the others in that it would work well with VZ and an HMG vet LT. At the same time, and considering how SWC hungry vanilla can be, I feel like it sees reasonable competition from the unknown ranger (41 pts, 0 swc) Time will tell, but it's never a bad thing to have extra tools.
I think you can get away with only a few swc in vanilla. Scouts with Ojotnik are none, mk 12 are none which a Wulver can take. Antipodes are none. Most infiltrating specialists are none. I usually end up having swc left
Myrmidon Officer pays it, and he's still pretty much an autoinclude. Greeks have more aggressive Lieutenants, though. We need to wait and see how will it look in TAK.
Oh, I can see it being useful in TAK. I bet the 1 SWC is just a TAX for vanilla. An important difference between Ariadna and the Greeks is that they do not have a cheap camo LT that cost no SWC.
An obvious pairing would be with the Veteran KAZAK AP HMG LT, who both makes good use of the LT Order and also gets an SWC discount for the HMG.
It's interesting but I'll wait until TAK comes out and the dust settles before making any comments on it....
I like the idea of pairing the tankhunter CoC with the Vet Kazak Lt. Just make full use of your Lt order to take down the enemy, and if it comes to worst you have a camouflaged LT!
Nah just happy that there are faction designers give damn about ;) Wait for Varuna, it will be hilarious ;P
See that is what this TH with gluegun is there for. To glue Achilles to the spot and then put a d-charge on him. I remember doing this once a long time ago.
That is really a gamble, there is bigger chance that glue gun guy will end up dead or miss than achiless being glued. If achilles player is smart, doing this in active turn is next to impossible, he moves you ARO B1 vs his B4 spitfire superior BS and all, you are dead. In his reactive turn, he goes in supression in good place, also really hard and risky to try and glue him.
