Transistor is really, really good: design, music, story, gameplay... everything is great and fits together.

Regarding Pyre, I've read it has a very good story but gameplay is considered subpar when compared to Supergiant's previous games. Your opinion?

Considering Nintendo and how they treat the PC platform, I guess I'll have to play it on emulator, someday.

I honestly think it's better, the character design is excellent and they're incredibly well done to make me really like them within such a short amount of time. The game itself is basically sportsball game, which is surprisingly good - but I prefer Transistor's gameplay. Transistor still has the best soundtrack though, hands down.

I think Pyre might be just better as an overall package, it's a really tight contest, all 3 are excellent.

I've got to the final level in Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. Great game, had me yelling at my screen though. Highly possible I am just bad though.

Still diving into BF1 every few nights and enjoying it.

Started Soma but not played much.

Trying to decide if I should get into Warframe or stick to Path of Exile as my loot grinder. Don't have time for both, barely have time for one tbh

    Ha ha :)
as you know me trying to stuff ppl with thous games whenewer i can :)
So Pyre is good sport game masked under story based adventure game aka best sport game you will ever read :)
all 3 games are good and non of them is same (beside high quality productions values and graphic )
so which of them is best - none one will appel more to others when other to anothers
As i love Art Deco and reference to this style Transistor is my to go when i need an inspiration, when it comes to ost .. o my ... they are all excelent bigest impact tho give me Bastion one but this is conected to some of the emotions i got in my personal life at the time.
Visuals over all - newest game Pyre got this highest polish quality when bastion is raw at the edges and Transistor is somwer between but if you are up to stange jazzy inspired electro and Ard deco Tranzistor is best :P

    @Sonic
Ha Swallow Tactic: Babes of the Shogun - old Comandos inspired hard as nails game :) - good one :)
Warframe Vs POE well i played both Currently returned to Warframe and get in Warframe and return to warframe is isy ;)
and POE is Diablo 2.5 with a bit of toxic community and insine grind - end game is grind
when in Warframe end game is ... actualy what you decide to do it may be Sorti Runs (daily based Very hard missions for better rewards ) or endurance runs (an 1h + in a survival mission - to prove your skills to somebody or your selves ) ther is also onslaught missions and most important - Fashion Frame (a true end game) so if you whant to go Warframe i may help -= o and Warframe is Bite size freandly - a 20 min in and out to normal life (and this will not change it is a dev team motto )

Yeah Maru nailed it, it's essentially a visual novel game under the hood and a bloody good one. It's probably my favourite game I've played this year.

Reminder that Twilight Struggle is 60% off and also a good game.

And speaking of good games, computer version of Gloomhaven announced for next year.

Anyone remember a game called Shadow Company? That was basically my Jagged Alliance, because I did not know Jagged Alliance existed back then. That and Desperadoes. Why are there so few Western games, anyway? :(

Have you tried Hard West? It's a bit rough around the edges but it's an interesting supernatural isometric tactical turn based Wild West game. I enjoyed it a lot despite the low producion values.

Yes, I liked that one. I also blast through the challenge mode of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger from time to time. But there isn't much more. I'm bloody sick of shooters set in WW2, near future or $currentyear.
