Oniwaban with some green stuff to alter mask/add hair as Saito Old ghulam infantry as brawlers with green stuff berets (maybe?). Acontecimento regulars looks cool too, but they need weapon swaps. Red Veil Yuan Yuan as Bashi Bazouk BSG Knauf as Druze Sniper/Le Muet HSN3 Druze as LGL/Arslan Isobel McGregor as Valerya Gromoz (if I can find someone to share the Dire Foes box)
I'm not the biggest fan of Scarface's Ramhorn or his pilot model but I love the profile. Scarface's proxy is done but his TAG is going to be a different story. He looked too brutish for my taste. I like to imagine him as a tenacious fighter who just will not quit instead of a berserker. It's a slight difference, but it's the difference between popping out of your TAG (impetuous) because he's angry and getting out because... well... there's still work to do dang it! Just took a druze and armswapped him with a Farzan. Clipped the sword off of a spare druze arm and tried to (crudely) make a greenstuff sheath to represent his CCW and make him look a tad less refined. Spoiler: Warning: Big Picture The ramhorn will be a bit tougher but I've got something special in mind.
I got quite a list for proxies for this XD I was planning on using Jethro for Arslan but Stephen Rao looks way better in that role. I just grabbed two Kanrens to pull duty as my Bashi Bazooks. (they look really nice against the druze models and carry the same style of weapons. The new Thorikatai (sure I spelt that wrong XD) are going to be taking the role of Brawlers The ninja from the outrage box for Saito. (haven't fully decided on the camo infiltrators yet, but there have been some good suggestions)
Here's my latest proxy... I really got annoyed at having 3 Pathfinders and 2 Fugazi, giving me 5 nearly identical looking remotes (plus the Sierra and clipper, but they're at least a little more different). So instead of Pathfinders, I'm going to be using Meteor Zonds! Druze are space faring, buy/steal/trade with anyone, so why not get some support from the nomads? As a proxy they should be fine, nearly identical stats, same silhouette, they're both typical FO bots, only real difference is the deactivator and sniffer on the Pathfinder. BONUS: Looking for the Bashi with Combi + light shotgun to use as a specialist?
Nobody I know or asked online has objected, and some people have already gone out and bought them! Haha
How about easy arm swaps on top of proxies? My favorite Bashi is the combi with e/mauler, it looks like the female fusilier may be a good arm donor.
I thought about it, but I’m also considering saving it to convert a box of Muyibs into brawlers, replacing the medikit to be firing the SMG instead.
The new ones are a little bigger but not too much, the detail is a little sharper on the new ones too.

Here is my list Old Druze as Druze. While I like the newer guns, I don't like the 2 models with open faces. Valerys Gromoz ==> Guijia Pilot, She looks hackerish and my LGS had it stock. Arslan ==> ABH SFORZA Saito ==> Oniwaban Brawlers ==> Ghulams ABH ==> I have 1 LE sniper model, and I'm using Miranda Ashcroft as my second. Remotes: PeaceMakers ==> PeaceMakers Pathfinders ==> I'm repainting my rarely used Haqq remotes and picked up a second box. So I have 3 of them with the bits that the box has labeled as TR HMG profile. I've never thought those bits represented the an HMG very well, but they do represent FO/Combi quite well. I also got 2 extra cylender bits in each of my peacemakers for a total of 4. By replacing the haqq remote fins with those its fairly distinct. Plus those fins break off in 2 seconds. Clipper ==> Orginally I was going to see if I could split a nomad remote box and use the missle launcher sculpt. But I was able to get a hold of just the missile launcher bit, which when added tothe haqq remote makes it fairly distinct and obviously a missle lancher. The Haqq missle launcher bit is fairly punny. Kameel ==> Nomad remote with crazykoalas. I wanted something different from my other remotes. I intend on using the EVO profile a lot in Druze, and this is the same silouette. Nasmat ==> Crazykoalas. This was another reason I went with the Nomad remote for the Kameel. You get 2 extra S1 models with it. Fugazi ==> Undecided. I don't want to use Haqq remotes since I want them different from my pathfinders. I'm execting my 3D printer soon (kickstarter) and will probably print up a modfied ED209 (robocop) to be a lighter version of the haqq chicken walkers. It should be simple enough to print at the scale needed. I don't intend on getting dedicated models for the TR remote.
I currently have this for my Brawler Haris model, and my brawler AHD. I will be using the Imperial Agent Phaesant Rank with Ghulam Doctor arms for my brawler doctor. These two brawlers use the bodies from the Zhanying and the Kanren Counter Insurgency with the rifle from the Taureg Hacker, the Arm and Head of Uxia(?). My Arslan is a filed down, and smoothed out Scarface with Light Shotgun model because I love his attitude. Everything else is currently planned to be the normal models but given more character. The remotes will have the normal Pano color schemes but with graffiti.
I am going for a thrown together mercenary look from all over the Human Sphere, not a specific Druze force and using: - Lunokhod plus the Zondcat as Peacemaker and Auxbot. - Custodier as Valerya - Sforca with a helmet as Arslan - Senor Massacre as Saito - Spectr as Hunzakut - Keisotsu with ML and helmet as Brawler with HRL - Guilang as Brawler Sniper with MSV2 - Druze are a combination of Scots Guard, Khawarij, PanO SpecOp and Celestial Guard. - Hafza without weapons as Warcor or Druze Hacker So as a theme I am going for a mix between cultures, long cloaks and masked heads, to underline the mercenary feel. What I am yet not sure about is, what to use as Pathfinder and Clipper? I love the Kameels, but there bases are to big, so I am thinking I might get the original PanO Remotes and try a leg swap with the Kameels. For Scarface I am probably converting a Guijia, but thats not set in stone yet. Have to finish the infantry first.
I decided to take a page from @TheDiceAbide and mix up my remotes. I'm using: Nomad remotes for Clipper and Sierra Haqq remotes for Fugazi Meteors for Pathfinders Peacemakers and Kameels will remain the same. I do really like the idea of Deadpool filling in for Saito.
If you want to go really crazy, you can use Traktor Mul without the weapons as the Kameel bagage, and then regular kameel for the EVO/TR options
I COULD, but the Kameel is a sweet looking REM. It's almost a little baby Maggie. Plus, two Kameels come in a box. I'm not rich enough to just use one. ;)
Yeah for sure, I'm actually considering a second box of Kameel so that I can make the EVO, and then either 2 TR and 1 baggage or 1 TR and 2 baggage... I just love the models.
