One thing I find is I want to run the new hotness 10 order lists with her. Which means no Mutts, who are excellent at protecting units like this and first turn strikes in general.

Is a good defence as I mentioned. For me though with 10 orders having such a weak Irregular order doesn't seem like a good idea. I'd prefer Hunzakut but even then. A good player will easily eliminate one Mutt. On the flip side of course the rest of your army will be slightly beefier because of it.
