So according to Mayacast TAK and OS aren't releasing with the Coldfront box, just the new miniatures being added to vanilla for now. If so I am disappoint.
I was very excited for the TAK release and was all ready to put other projects on hold to have them as my main. I don't understand the reasoning on the delay, as this would be the perfect time to launch them at the same time as the box release.
It's a nice thought, but I doubt it's going to happen. It will probably be stretched into another release hype cycle or a book or something.
I think they are waiting for the Beyond box, they were going to have it at GenCon but it was to much so it was pushed back and I bet the sectorials pushed back with it.
Do they maybe mean "not out at Gencon"? After all, that's when people will get it in the wild first, then the preorders come end of the month with it dropping in Army then, like what happened with Tunguska. It also dodges a sequel to the JSA Adepticonfusion where the rules were out but not actually valid for the tournament as they'd literally launched the day before.
That would make me happier, the BoW week was clearly advertising it as TAK vs OS rather than Ariadna vs Aleph so it's frustrating having to wait longer before being able to play TAK and OS.
hmmm... not sure... Last time CB talked about a Sectorial they showed things like AVA, Fireteam composition... didn't anyone else found it weird that they didn't show those during the last BoW videos?
Weird, disappointing, was really hoping to dive into some theory crafting. I guess if they intended to push it back until whenever they drop it it makes sense.
I think the size creep is becoming a serious detriment to the game. Last night, I deployed the chicken. My opponent spent half his orders lining-up a Spirfire on my Zinger Burger. When he declared BS Attack, I removed the burger and put down the S2 silhouette; he did not have LoF. After much swearing, he packed away his models and went home. I ate my prepainted chicken and went home happy.
It's all the hormones they inject into the chicken. Take the newly released fried-chicken bot (the Raicho, unfortunately someone has picked off the skin - Heathen! - leaving some only on the left shoulder, so it's easy to miss), last night I was trying to draw LOF to it put the SIL down and then removed it saying "if I can't see the bot I definitely can't see the SIL".
