It wouldn’t take fusilier ava, as Bipandra and other characters also don’t. Nit sure if they are linkable though. And spec ops is currently missing from army.
Spec ops don't count towards AVA. You can choose any frame and have them do whatever you want. Just don't expect them to do anything beyond what a line troop is capable of. They're the troop type so they're linkable. Also: *sad_horns.flv*
Acon Regular spec ops: Wip 14 doctor-engineer-hacker minelayer with BSG and 2 palbots? Unless there are restrictions to "1 specialist skill/hack device" they make perfect no-brainer support troops. You get all you need for 10 - 16 points instead of like 50+ and 0.5 swc.

What I'm talking about is that instead of adding another heavy weapon for 0 swc, spec ops bring much more value to Pano in the role of specialists with better wip (14 or 15) for 10-16 points instead of three wip 12 specialists for 50+ points. No panO trooper comes to mind when I try to think of a line infantry with 3 specialist roles and wip above 13.
