I think a profile tune up is needed and looks like its been done with multi rifle hacker. The problem for me now is how interesting a yadu duo might be as anassault rambo team. I suppose there is room for both haha
Anyone else notice the Shukra Lt. "Only available in OperationS sectorial"? Is this a placeholder for Vedic - or something else...
Vedic is just our pet name for the Operations Subsection. Named so due to the hindu inspiration in the naming conventions of the units.
Steel Phallus and ASS. For a media-friendly army of supermodels they sure have some unlucky nicknames.
For what it's worth, that's purely a player construction, the proper abbreviation of Assault Subsection would be AS.
I thought it was Assault Subsection Sectorial, similar to ISS (Imperial Service Sectorial) . Although I can understand not wanting to use the two letter abbreviation for Imperial Service in today's climate...
"Vedic Aleph" and "Greek Aleph" are both equally reasonable, as they are describing the origin of the names of the units.
For Dart, Climbing plus + Camo means she should be able to climb on top of a building while staying in the marker state and then go prone in the same order to break LOS to completely avoid getting shot at. Needing to crest buildings at full S is often enough to get you shot from ground level troops. Or she can climb up on a roof and shoot or plant an AP mine to deal with those annoying models that infiltrate prone with a shotgun and ARO long skill climbers trying to get them.
Enjoying that the new Aleph stuff appears to be appropriately costed and are sensible profiles. Shukra is about 4 pts more than a Kempeitai and has similar stats. Trades out situational ss1 and N2 for Counterintelligence and Biovisor 2. Makes sense. Based on the Puppeteer in Tunguska, Counterintelligence isn't really priced too high. Both Tungu and OS will probably be barely scraping anything into a second combat group, so seems ok. Yadu is priced in line with low tier HI. Like a Domaru/Tanko/Wu Ming. Rocks similar stats and armaments. Trades out a real 2nd wound and hackable for NWI/unhackable. Brings toolbox gear (DropBears and E/Marat) which are good but situational. NCO is a very cool rule - but also would invalidate the Yadu from a link... So will, again, be situational. Dart is really the only obnoxious piece shown off so far. Her profile is pretty absurd. The one tether stopping her from being completely pants-on-head-ridiculous is that she isn't a specialist... So she can do a lot, but you're investing in an unlinkable, non-specialist who has the potential to be a bit glass cannon-y. Pretty much in line with existing Aleph named characters, tbh.
