With the new Raicho profile out I've been tossing around list ideas centering on combining the wonderful new Morat TAG with another great strength of the MAF, the Oznat/Hungries core. I keep running into the Lieutenant wall. The cheap orders available to the Aggression Force do not benefit from the Morat rule, so it's more important than usual to bring a LT that's not too easily identified and assassinated. So what's your solution?

Lieutenant Yaogat consistently performs for me when I'm not specifically running a Kornak core link. Given a Riacho is pretty hard to fit alongside such a link, that makes the Yaogat my vote. :)

Yogurt LT is a nice option to follow a hungry or daturazi team.

Raicho is now a veritable toolbox.. but I find it's troublesome to get many other tools in a list unless I take a Hungries link.

    This is making me happy:

Why do you have a Kurgat haris with only 2 Kurgat in the list?

To fit other tools into the list. There's no requirement to take 3.kurgat are pretty expensive. The extra burst is nice buuuut, but and kiss is pretty dope.

As a duo they can follow the raicho, plunk down close range mines and have 0-24 inches covered in other angles, including via supp.fire. Bit and kiss plays anti-hacker business. The rest is just candy. There's enough here to get reaaallly squirrelly.

My only trouble is finding a way to squeeze the e-drone in to make the Hungries link more durable.

it might sound iffy, but i had a bit of a fun run with a lone rodok lt in my raicho testlists. i have a yoghurt sniper in the lists so another one as lt seems redundant.
the rodok can be constantly in suppression with his order, and is a surprisingly ok last turn gunfighter.
and double shotguns. nobody can argue with that.

I agree. Yogurt, and Rodok both make super LTs. The spitfire yogurt or hmg Rodok are both excellent solo attackers, too, for not too heavy a price. Ditto in other factions for stuff like Bagh-Mari that hmg is one of the best low-cost solos in the game, and doesn't need the link.

I've never been very fond of the yogurt sniper, though. I can see how it could be good, but every time I try the long range game with MAF I get wrecked. Raicho is now a brawler and can successfully tangle in midfield with a party of Hungries lol. I can image some insanely strong mine-toss+ Hungries maneuver. Just getting the mine in position (instead of lots of orders to move raicho to shoot) can dissuade the opponent from ever shooting, potentially letting you move 6-6 instead of tossing smoke.

I'm honestly having trouble feeling like a different composition is better. Hungries let you keep that 12-16 order range and take a tag. Hard to do in MAF.

I don't think the hungry link is necessary. This is a list I'd be willing to play which is shocking since I generally don't like MAF.

I've been looking at LI lists almost entirely made up of Morats when considering the Raicho. I also prefer to bring a haris which means Kornak or Yaogat Lt. It's tough deciding between them but i keep thinking Kornak is just better in most cases. Mainly because the haris brings solid options and a specialist along with his Strategos. I'm in desperate need of specialists.

I don't feel very concerned with hiding my Lt in this case. It also has me asking if a Kurgat Engineer is a better choice than Dr Worm?

I'm thinking something like this, but not sure if it has too many holes. Like dealing with long range threats, camo, no surprises etc.

I absolutely refer to them as yoghurt strike infantry, creamiest and most refreshing of all strike infantry, they pair well with soggy rats
