I can theoretically accomplish each Classified Objectiv, but I'm missing the Clipsos FO and I'm not sure , what i could change. IMO you can do without the FO Clipsos. Triads can move up a specialist effectively, Eclipse smoke covers everything, so you can go where ever you want. You can have a bunch of Shooty + Specialist + Makaul triads to cover everything.
Disclaimer : I started toha about 4 months ago, so take my advice with a handfull of salt. I am not a huge fan of the K1 Combi, since you have 2 SWC to spare, change your group1 sukeul to an HMG. and regarding making room for the clipsos you could perhaps do without the kumotail since you have 3 triads and plenty of manpower. What is the intended role for the Kosuil engineer ?
I generally don't feel the need to take Engineers at all in HC for Tohaa. They can be a bit of a trap because Kaauri are particularly vulnerable to multiwound fire. We have plenty of other sources of D-Charges and retro-engineering is no longer a classified. By taking out an engineer you're only missing out on one classified and can focus into more killy things. Having said that you do have 2 engineers so you could drop the Kosuil + Chaksa for a Sukeul HMG using your SWC and having a B5 unit to win gun fights. You will still have access to the classified if you are worried.
Mechanically, cause I dont use Kumotail normally. The Loadout with Boarding Shotgun, Panzerfaust and symbiont armour isn't bad at all. I don't like the K1 too, but if I change the Sukeul to HMG, I haven't a Lieutenant nor a FO. Since the Kumotail isn't that stable, I'd like to keep him in my deploiment zone an let do the work by the Chacksa. If I wan't to keep my defence Triad of ML Sukeul, SR Goa-Rael and Kaeltar, I don't see an chance for including the HMG
Not enough punch in your list, reflected by your 4 SWC pts . I think a sukuel HMG is needed You have one chain of command so or your choose a cheap lieutenant (kamael by default or sakiel for his viral combi rifle) with which you ll lose your lieutenant order or you choose a taqueul or rasail to use this extra order agressivly. Sukuel lieutenant is not a good option even the FO one. 7 specialist is not needed. 5 specialists is already confortable (moreover when you have a doc/ engineer enlisted) And last thing : no clipso or gao tarso = no surprise element to unlock some difficult situations I never make list without a clipso ^^ Good luck for your tournement ! :)
Between Kosuil being both a solid fighter and a WIP 14 engineer, and the option for Sakiel or Kamael paramedics, the Kumotail is nearly obsolete in Tohaa. Keep in mind that a Paramedic roll on a symbiont trooper is nearly as good as a doctor roll, since the -3 MOD is negated, and Paramedics can perform all the same objective tasks as a Doctor.
So if you arnt aware you dont rely on the opponent to wound the Karuuri, you walk off a tall building first order turn one with one. they are S1, so most buildings will cause damage on fall, then you walk over to your jumper and get the repair for the points. Its gamey, but its a tournament, and a valid tactic
I love the Kosuil BS/PF as a support piece in a triad. His weapons really make Heavy infantry think carefully about how they engage the triad, and its nice support to a HMG. Also a bomb on Wip 14 is nice to pick your shooter up again.
I still don't get how you manage to revive anything with a Paramedic. You are rolling on PH10-11, and Kumotail is WIP14 with re-rolls. Paramedic is just mercy killing, while Kumotail get's the job done.
Didn't get the HMG Sukeul in, but now I have the Clipsos. I don't know what to change to get the HMG and the 12 point lieutenant in. I mean, personally, I wouldn't bother trying to pick up troops in general. Tends to be a waste of orders.
I think I agree. I wondered, maybe a Sukeul is worth picking up, but everything revives in Inactive armor, and everything useful is gone. Like we have multi wound Fusiliers with infinite Haris everywhere. Sukeul is like Kamau, until it's Mimetism gets shot off.
And when you look at it from an "ITS objectives only" perspective, a Doctor is just a more expensive Paramedic.
Everyone should try out Pano to see how spoiled Tohaa is! Just ignore the fact that the best Tohaa shooters are like Pano's line infantries.

The only reason to bring either is the objective so might as well go cheap, you have enough D charges already. This got me the HMG, Also went with Gao-Rael LT as adhesive is really useful.
