As a new guy to NCA, I would like some feed back on a list I plan to use in Decapitation, I have not won a game with my NCA in the Kurage Crisis. Neoterran Capitaline Army ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 10 FUSILIER Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 18) FUSILIER Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 15) SWISS GUARD HMG / Pistol, AP CCW. (2 | 68) SWISS GUARD Missile Launcher, Light Shotgun / Pistol, AP CCW. (2 | 69) CSU Breaker Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12) AUXILIA Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) AUXILIA Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) GROUP 2 3 2 TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) MACHINIST Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) BULLETEER Heavy Shotgun / Electric Pulse. (0 | 17) TECH-BEE (Remote Assistant Level 1, Specialist Operative) Flash Pulse / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) WARCOR (Aerocam) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3) 6 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army
Move Swiss ML into 2nd combat group, drop Bulleteer for additional CSU and possibly another Auxilia. Also where are your fugazis ?;P Something alongside this: Neoterran Capitaline Army ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 9 1 FUSILIER Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 18) FUSILIER Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Missile Launcher / Pistol, Knife. (1.5 | 15) SWISS GUARD HMG / Pistol, AP CCW. (2 | 68) CSU Breaker Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 12) AUXILIA Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) AUXILIA Combi Rifle + AUXBOT_1 / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) AUXBOT_1 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) WARCOR (Aerocam) Flash Pulse / Stun Pistol, Knife. (0 | 3) GROUP 2 6 1 TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) TECH-BEE (Remote Assistant Level 1, Specialist Operative) Flash Pulse / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 5) SWISS GUARD Missile Launcher, Light Shotgun / Pistol, AP CCW. (2 | 69) FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) CSU Boarding Shotgun, Nanopulser / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 11) 6 SWC | 300 Points Open in Infinity Army
Then for sure drop Swiss ML into 2nd combat group. It's not good for both of them to compete for orders in same group. And buy Fugazis whenever you have time/money ;) I would also drop either Machinist or Doc as you don't really need both (mostly depending on enemy). And take 2nd CSU, and mayby additional Auxilia
I have this for Annihilation, so should work good for Decapitation too: Neoterran Capitaline Army ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP 1 9 BULLETEER Spitfire / Electric Pulse. (1 | 23) PEACEMAKER Heavy Shotgun + AUXBOT_3 / Electric Pulse. (0 | 21) AUXBOT_3 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) PATHFINDER DRONBOT Combi Rifle, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 16) FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) FUGAZI DRONBOT Flash Pulse, Sniffer / Electric Pulse. (0 | 8) TRAUMA-DOC Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 14) MACHINIST Combi Rifle, D-Charges / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 15) GARUDA Tacbot Spitfire / Electric Pulse. (1.5 | 28) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) PALBOT Electric Pulse. (0 | 3) GROUP 2 8 BULLETEER Spitfire / Electric Pulse. (1 | 23) PEACEMAKER Heavy Shotgun + AUXBOT_3 / Electric Pulse. (0 | 21) AUXBOT_3 Heavy Flamethrower / Electric Pulse. (- | 4) MULEBOT Hacker (EVO Hacking Device) Electric Pulse. (0.5 | 25) FUSILIER Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Lieutenant Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0 | 10) FUSILIER Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 18) FUSILIER Hacker (Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Knife. (0.5 | 18) HEXA Hacker (Killer Hacking Device) Combi Rifle / Pistol, Electric Pulse. (0 | 27) 5 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army Very effective if you don't face LGL E/M with X-Visor fireteams.
Who is your datatracker? Remember in Decap you get lots and i mean LOTS of points for killing the Designated target with your datatracker. 5 objective points is nothing to laugh at and with the deeper deployment zone it is actually super easy to do 1st turn. Deployment zone is 16 inches. With the HVT (or Designated target in this mission) starting 4 " outside of the enemies deployment zone it is 20 inches out. With your own deployment zone being 16 inches as well the distance to your units is 12 inches. This makes it very easy to take the target out first turn with a light grenade launcher. This way takes on average 3-4 orders (fus link) to get half of the possible objective points in this mission instantly with little to no possible interference through the enemy. (Squalo can do it too. But i don't like squalos.)
You're welcome. But Decapitation can also be accomplished by 10 orders lists. And NCA as really strong at 10 orders. I gave you this one because it is unothodox and unexpected. And incredibly awful to fight against while funny to play with. Though, don't discard building a Triple Guard list or anything that stand in only one combat group.
@Ayadan That double Pacemaker, so evil, so good, so devastating. (only bad thing is that both Pacemakers and Auxbot have to be between 8" and the bases are BIG)
Once again. thank you all for your feed back, I think that is my biggest problem, Finding the right data tracker for is mission, I want to use my Swiss guard but then I can't recamo him.
I'm not a huge fan of swiss guard datatracker. You give up hidden deployment and the marker state. You basically downgrade him to ODD. And alot of my love for the swiss guard comes from surprise shot. If you don't want to go with a grenade launcher Fusilier for datatracker for ultimate cheese you can always think about a Locust (no marker state to give up) or even an Aquila. But those are just my favourites. (After the grenade launcher of course)
Normally its difficult to hide 2 big bases and 2 small ones in that space, did it once, worked, kind off, but its not optimal
It's an optional skill. If it doesn't work to have 2 in close proximity to each other, then deploy one of them out there and the other in the deployment zone.
http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Mechanized_Deployment http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Zone_of_Control http://infinitythewiki.com/en/Game_...minology:_Interaction_between_Zones_and_Bases So stuff is inside your ZoC, if you can take two points of their bases so that the distance between those points is less than or equal to 8". So they don't have to be "fully inside" the ZoC, it's enough if any part of the bases touch the base of the chosen trooper. So actually having big bases helps you with this, as ZoC is measured form the border of the base, so a trooper on a 55mm base has bigger ZoC than one on a 25mm.
My biggest problem with 2 peacemakers is that i can't hold both of them back during deployment. And if i use mechanized deployment for the one i deploy first my enemy instantly knows where my second bot can be.
But he won't know, if you have a second Peacemaker. Also ZoC is quite big, your furthest troops can be 16"+base size away.
I use the Peacemakers as shock troops and step that will burn orders to my opponent to deal with or to avoid them. I choose the best part of the half table I have where I can establish an outpost with them. Peacemakers themselves are rarely deployed at 24". More at 16-20". The Auxbots can be deployed at 24" but the aim is not to have a long range ARO. The aim is to be seen when the HFT hits already and if possible while avoiding to see a shotgun pick the Peacemaker while shooting at the Auxbot. See this picture (that's not me on the photo but that's my list deployed on the left of the table) : I was the first player and this deployment was very effective.
Just wanted to let you know that the LGL date tracker worked like a dream, each time I used it, I got a critical hit and one of them was on the HVT, But over all I won. Thanks again everybody.
