    Hi everyone,

How does engage work with the zondnautica?

    Zondnautica move 8 inches.
    Ninja ARO engages the zondnautica.
Zondnautica declares dismount and moves bike and remote in different directions.

Can the zondnautica controller choose to move the Ninja next to either model?

It can't happen, the Zondnautica can only Dismount during the first Skill of the Order.

The intent here is pretty obvious so I'm not really going down this rabbit hole but...

Given the AI Motorcycle rules tell you to apply the Motorcycle rules when mounted, and the Motorcycle rules allow you to dismount in either short skill of an order, it looks like you could dismount on the second short skill, youd just get a motorcycle marker instead of the REM because you wouldn't meet the condition of placing the REM on the table.

What I'm really getting at is, are CB going to fix every other dismount in the game which is equally broken if you can do it as your second skill?

edit - nevermind, you did point out using the normal bike rule to dismount following the normal bike rule means forfeiting using the g:synch REM

i notice the important box say to apply general movement rule that you have to dismount at the beginning of your movement applying the new profile to the whole order. So you could Shoot+Dismount/Move as that 2nd skill Move is the start of your movement for your order (and because shoot+move and move+shoot are supposed to result in the same thing).

I'm not sure if that important text refer to a problem already solved or if the general dismount problem still exist. I didn't double check the current General Movement Rules. But i do like AI bike solution of being explicit it must the first skill.

Didn't the FAQ already almost do that?

The FAQ still allows for you to dismount at the beginning of the second skill of an order.

As you say, it breaks the game mechanics, so don't bleeping do it.

And yes, it's waiting on an updated FAQ entry, as I've pointed out multiple times.
