Well, when it's on forum, it's easier to google, so you've come to the right place if you wanted people to get it :yum:
    Also, damn.

Please no, not another unit whose defining skill is Mimetism. Weapon loadouts are ok, but this really doesn't bring anything new to PanO.

That's what makes it a good guess! What makes you think that after all this time CB is likely to give us new toys? Like really new. Like here, have some new mechanics to play with new? Naaaaah, that's for Tunguska. We get vision mods, visors, and high BS, and we make it work.

I'm looking forward to Varuna for the theme myself. Our guest room is all decked out in nautical decor (and we live in Minnesota...). Give me my futuristic fish men!!!!

MO is also already littered with heavy infantry. I don't think it's crazy to expect the addition of an elite HI.

You could say MO gets the Guard of Regular Coordinated Order of Saint Warcor :yum:

I mean, if your desire can be satisfied with some more -3s of another flavour, then CB might actually do it, as long as special clauses for the rule are applied reliable enough to care not where do they come from :yum:

Funny how everyone wants 2W AD troops. Oh Fraacta, you make everyone jelly.

Honestly, Echo Bravos will probably be the MI for the sectorial. What I really want is for Helots to finally give Pano a warband unit. I'd want an expensive 14-20 point "warband" unit with eclipse grenades. Pano doesn't do cheap cannon fodder but we can certainly use another eclipse grenade user.

I think the forum would have a melt down if Vanilla PanO got access to a non-50 point smoke thrower .
I'd assume Helots might show up as mercs like CSU's, if they did get smoke,<s> or we might get the first nimbus grenade only WB analog. </s>

Honestly, if we got another 50 point smoke thrower, but who could actually do it with his/her PHY 14 it'd be worth it.

    Teutons :tongueclosed:

I'd really like to know more about the sectorial in general. Maybe we could get some increased remotes use?

Helot fluff implies that mechanical transformation, battle damage or some other "profile changing" rule could be in place. Their RPG fluff says that PanO gives them pressure suits that helps keep them docile (non-Impetuous, Regular.) Otherwise they're aggressive and ferocious at surface level pressures (Impetuous, Irregular, Berserk?) Could be interesting.

Is there any kind of physical description for them at all?

Yes, the RPG Corebook has quite a detailed description of them.
    Paraphrasing:
Roughly humanoid with a long tail.
4 limbs (in certain life cycle phases, 2 in others) with 6 digits and black retractable claws.
Wide, flat faced heads with bulbous eyes (that change colour via pressure, blue = rage confusingly for human colonists).
Brains visible at back of head, surrounded by muscle mantle to protect against pressure, similar muscle tissue protects internal organs.

Ultra-violent Helots are the result of Tohaa genetic manipulation to create a cannon fodder species, left behind when Tohaa abandoned the planet.

It will more likely be Nimbus or Nimbus Plus IMO.

On topic, I think a HI with Mimetic and Forward Deployment could be pretty cool. Give it the Shikami type weapon loadouts to keep it reasonable.

Nimbus Plus would be a nice tool, if we can also get some more Direct Template weapons to accompany it. I like the interplay that Nimbus Plus has with Tohaa's Flamethrowers, iKohl, etc.

Yea, good thing PanO is known for broad synergy between units ... oh wait ....

Plus a nimbus (even plus) on X-Impeteus "sudo WB" would be a very cruel thing to do (unless heavily modified).
