My PanO army is themed as faceless corporate black-ops, and I've gone as far as adding helmets to everything. I've got a tournament soon in which I'm fielding (helmeted) Joan of Arc in one of my lists, so naturally I need a Techbee.

But I don't like the official one (no trousers doesn't make sense in a force where the only visible skin is a krakot (deniable mercenary) and warcor (who wouldn't be part of the squad)). Any suggestions? Maybe a masked "civilian tech expert" type look?

One of the other civvies from a dire-foes set?

There's a couple that would suit. Viral outbreak [IMG]
Or Dark Mist ones come to mind. [IMG]

Failing that, she doesn't have to be painted as "pantsless". Mine's in a skinsuit.

Well I would paint the Tech-Bee mini like she wears some skintight clothes.

I use her as my Deva Sensor. Solid mini and I really like the ALEPH boarding shotgun and spitfire.

Thank you for the ideas, I'll look into something like a masked Comm-Tech (maybe wearing a Chandra helmet). Although I misremembered how soon the tournament is, so I'll have to use a spare HVT or something during that.

The main problem for me is the legs of the tech-bee. I have the Bootleg Cutter and investigated a few options for leg replacement (Bolt Paramedic, Emily Handelman, a few of the Dire Foes) but never went ahead with it.

I have an Avicenna sans ponytail and with a sculpted visor. Looks very faceless corporate. Was originally meant as a member of the ALIVE group, now mostly stands in as a CSU.

Tech bee's head and arm on a female fusilier body. I tried using either the tech comm or marine officer body and it was too small compared to the tech bee arm. I'll post a picture later.
