Pure wishlisting, but I could see the Asura being 6-4 after a rework. But we will never see the order efficiency of uncovering 4 camo tokens in a single order again..

The Riot Grrrls!! Would demand the same increase in mobility.
My Asura Upgrade program: Remove MSV3 from H+ profile, either promote her weapon from Combi to Multi or keep the combi but give her a Pitcher. For the Spitfire, keep the MSV3, and for the "regular" Multi, downgrade it to MSV2 and give her an X-Visor. All profiles get a 2-3 points discount, or an increase on their Melee stat so they have 20.

For the spitfire Asura, what about giving her AP spitfire ? Short of going Marut, Aleph is laking ranged weapons to deal with high armor targer. Giving this role to the Asura spitfire could make her more interesting

Well, it has... just that they are heavy on SWC. HRL comes to mind (MK4), and Aleph is more about "disabling" (hack) than "killing", I'd say. For killing, Aleph's "Heavy weapon" is an Achilles to the face XD

I just read through the whole thread, and now look how late it is. thanks a lot guys.
I love all the different approaches in how a vedic sectorial could turn out.
For gods sake, just dont let it be too long. Vedic is actually what got me into the game.

    Here are my 2 Cents:
    • I would love vedic to include a lot of info war to buff all the bots.
    • I especially like the charybdis' for having a repeater and be able to profit from overclock, so maybe something like that for vedic?
    • here is another idea: biolocator. Something Kuang Shi'esk perhaps? Civilians with hacked superbrains that are turned into a repeater net.

    Would be awesome, yes :)

    Yup, would also be awesome.

No, no, a thousand times no. This is not yet-another-crazy-murderous-AI. For one, it is an inefficient and silly way of creating essentially equipment. For another, all lore indicates Aleph is quite friendly and respectful to humans - any "collateral" casualties are always that, collateral.

    Just no.

What about having the biolocator on a small robot like a crazy koala ? It would move with its owner until it get deployed. A short skill would allow it to move and deploy creating a targetable equipmenet that count as targeted for friendly player.

It's very close to what fast panda does. I think that pitchers are the best solution to extend hacking net. We don't know what will the theme of vedic be. Most likely hacking and robots but with tunguska just released, CB may not want 2 similar sectorials out in short period of time.

I just realized that chandras are in fact vedic, so maybe they'll show up to fill some gaps.

At the moment, the only Chandra profile available is from the Thorakitai statline. Unless they release a new Chandra profile with either the Deva or other statline, I wouldn't count on it too much.

I'd say it's a fairly safe bet there will be something to build the Chandra from. Whether it's the Deva or they release something else to base it on is the question. Even Onyx who have a REM as there core LI have something to base their spec ops on so I don't see them leaving Vedic without.

Onyx use shavastii or morat spec obs so there is no guarantee Vedic won't have to make do with a thorakitai spec obs.

PS : right now the higher cost spec-obs is the brawler at 16 points. Deva seems too costly to become spec obs.

A wild dream : a proxy spec obs based on mk1 :yum:

Seriously? Go back to the army, dude. Haqquislam has a 24 points Hassasin Muyib Specops (DOGGED, D-Charges, Rifle+light shotgun, panzerfaust). The basic Deva is 23 pts (sensor option is 24).

And the Onyx Specops is confirmed, because of a) Kerr Nau, and b) There is a keychain it was included in the tournament boxes 2 years or so ago, with Nexus Specops written all over it :p

People hypothesise that the last sniper shot is an upcoming ALEPH. I would tend to agree as we saw a leg with a high heel, similar to the Danava's or the Asura's.

I would love a new Asura model, but the leg we can see seem a bit too "equiped" for an asura leg, considering the curent models only carry their weapon, and no apparent pistol / knife. I don't know how I would feel to have an Asura equiped like a deva, so I will hope that this model is a new deva or danava.

I hope the new vedic miniatures have a casual and calm look.

I absolutly like those too-cool-to-sweat-poses. Let the other factions (and the Steel Phalanx) do their acrobatics - we are here for business.

If it's a Danavas, I hope they get extra AVA... I just finished my Kanren Hacker to proxy for the 2nd Danavas this weekend >.< (so of course it will be...).
Devas... I already have 5 (2 guys from the Devas Box, the girl from the Devas box, and the Deva from the starter... twice) and I doubt I will deploy more than 4 (I go for the Devabot profile a lot...), plus I could get the blister one still... And I have the two asuras (and unless they go down to 58pts at most, I don't see myself deploying 3 Asuras at once) :/

You may deploy 5 devas if they have a full core fireteam option. But only if they give them some new profiles, because a core with 1 spitfire and 4 combis is not very appealing, at the very least they need to have some ARO option (even a multi rifle profile would be nice enough)

Core of 1 Asura, 2 Devas and 2 Dakinis... mmmm...
    Haris of Devas
Haris of Deva + 2 Dakinis
Haris of Deva + Dakini + S3 remote (specialist, missile launcher)
Core of Danavas + 2 Devas + Sophotect + new unit

So many options to shuffle...

Im still hoping for a G: Jumper L2/L3 that could "hack" and possess units with cubes in its Zone of Control, temporarily moving its consciousness to the possesses model.
