I would like to point out that if linked MMS2 units are worthy of flipping out, then so are mimetic links... Which isn't exactly uncommon, and frankly I'm not sure MSV is so much a to-go counter to those that lack of it for MMS2 would be the real issue.

When you have two combined, then yeah, we are looking at some top-tier gunfighter material there.

Huh? I don't think putting a 6-4 unit into a link gives the rest of the link that speed so that the the former could make the most out of it, although it's still good for maneuvering.

 

What has 6-4 Move, Mimmetism and can get Assisted Fire and is expected to get a link in an upcoming Sectorial?

But anyway, what can serve as link fillers for that thing while having 6-4 MOV so that the latter could realistically use its own 6-4? That's kinda my point.

I would look to the CA profiles, in Onyx you have the Samaritan (for example) linking with the Xeodrones or Rodoks (and having SuperJump). Then the 6-2 Legate that links with Unidrons, Rodoks, Nexus... all of them 4-4; plus the Legate has Advanced Deployment.

Mixing speeds doesnt seem a problem, frankly.

If a holo projector 2 could link, couldn't he be 3 of the 5 models in the team? If you saw a Salz and 4 mk12 hollow men in a link that'd mean you had to guess if it was really 5 models or 3! Dare your opponent to push and find out.

Wouldn't it be 5? If a father forza could pretend to be the senior massacre of a link and make it valid why couldn't he be the three movie brigada instead? Maybe it would downgrade during bottom of turn 1 when you would need to reveal marker state? Honestly asking.

 

You can't hide the number of linked troops is my only point. If it is 3 troops but looks like 5 due to Holo they aren't getting SS2 or +3 BS.

 

Within the realms of reality, I'm really excited for the impact on Vanilla Nomads I must say.
