If the Missile Launcher vs Panzerfaust confuses you, you've got bigger problems with combis, BSGs and HMGs and should probably not waste time with these two slightly more obviously different launchers.
Nah, it's just that I cannot find much differnece between the Aquila, the Montesa, and the Father Knigth with the ORCS... XD
Deva like modular strap, and aleph belt. Aleph pistol too? Though the stitching on the thigh strap looks weird. These feel vedic to me. Could we see an ALEPH operation box? It feels weird but, posible? I beleive that CB hinted a few years ago of Ariadna and Combined which the campaign works well for. But is there a reason it couldnt be both? Vedic started and new operation box (or just ariadna starter?) Sent from my SM-J320P using Tapatalk
Wasnt suggesting they were the same model, to be clear. I was thinking deva and dasyu. But it could easily be Wardriver and something else. Gen con specials does seem likely though. This time last year they were teasing exclusives and Aristeia sculpts. Sent from my SM-J320P using Tapatalk
Clearly not a Panzerfaust then, just a cool gribbly. Besides I know what Panzerfausts look like, you can see examples on Haqq and Nomad minies: they look like a disposable double barrelled LAW. Ie it reduces confusion by making clear what is and what is not a Panzerfaust. And you're still just complaining because you just like complaining.
To be fair, all old Magisters had that thing which looked like two-barelled shoulder mounted launcher which brought people to think those were PanO's compact panzerfausts. As for comparison with Haqq and Nomads: the former still use equipment that looks like it came straight from 1960s, and when it comes to PzFs the latter are mostly represented by models from Nomads' lowlifes sectorial. There's no reason PanO's stuff must look and feel exactly the same. When it comes to universal piece of equipment everyone from the unit gets, at least - otherwise yes, you could argue it's to make HW carriers more distinctive. While Aquila's case can indicate people were wrong about what represents what on the model, it was (AFAIK?) the only model with that shoulder thingie that doesn't have PzF, so there's that.
My current thinking (and I know it's shared by a few people), is that the GenCon 'Operation:' box will be Ariadna and Aleph. Based on all the information we have so far about the 5 sectorials coming this year, they're the only combination that really fits.
Obviously HMGs, Spitfires, Sniper Rifles and Bikes looks the same among all factions as they do the same, don't they ? Oh no, my secret is out! I also must have been instinctively pick up the faction with most things to complain about! What a feat! Seraph was a victim too. I would really like to know if the new Magisters were also a victim of this motion or was is deliberate planned change.
No they didn't, the ML Magister did not have a shoulder mounted launcher, because that WAS a panzerfaust and the profile didn't come with one. It used to make so much sense, now it's all over the place. As I've said elsewhere, I can field AVA 6 Magisters from the superior-styled old models so this won't affect me but it's a baffling change to make things less clear on the models. Which is a shame, because out of context they are superb. Good basis for conversions I reckon (although I'm struggling to think of suitable MO profiles that they'd suit for. Maybe the LSG one could be converted with a sculpted robe into a Black Friar sniper? It would cover up the "HI" bits)
except haqq are already in a two player box....and if memory serves, the haqq half of the box IS the ramah starter
I think one of PanO TAGs have a shoulder-mounted Panzerfaust "a-la" old Magister... And the Anaconda positively has it.
