I am wondering if they may be an AI beacon unit. Nomads are the only human faction I would expect to use that type of tech, and it would allow Tunguska to be a more elite priced army but able to shore up the order pool.
I guess a cheap s2 remote isn't much different in the end (can shoot back). Its different of course when you bring post humans into play, which could come with the Hollow Men, but if they just are HI Remotes then a cheap Ikadron type remote might be enough. There is the huge question how to balance it in vanilla though!?
Just realized cb is asking people to buy a pack with only 2 models having updated rules, 3 models with outdated rules, and 1 model being a complete unknown. Seems like a big gamble to me. CB, you want people to preorder things you need to tellus what it is! (Hopes for earlier sneak peek)
Eh? It's one model with previewed rules (Heckler) one unknown (Hollow Man) one existing but very new (Kriza, profile has been out less than a year) and 3 getting a rework (Securitates).

Because currently we don't have those profiles, but we do have old ones. Right now, you can use those Securitate, with the shitty old profiles. Outdated. You can't use the Hollow Man at all. You can definitely use the KB and if you have a nice opponent you can use the Heckler. Not that this super-enrages me, you understand. It is merely; the case
That's not going to stop anyone. If nothing else they're extremely solid Brawler Proxies for StarCo. Which leaves just Hollowmen and CB will have to try seriously hard to make STR HI useless.
I wonder what Hollow Men will get Koni said 6-2 right? And I heard Super Jump too, from [REDACTED]. Goooood imagine if they had that, an otherwise regular HI statline (maybe ARM 3 BTS 6) and ODD, that'd be awesome
I heard holoprojector, which makes them a weird fit in my mind. They can pretend to be footsoldiers in my weaker links which won't want to move up, or we have 2 HI which operate like order competing rambos. No serious outrage about the profiles . Meant it as a tongue in cheek reason they should give us profiles today. I already did the preorder because I'll run tunguska even if the rest of the profiles were lame. They were what had me enter the game with nomads.
I think the Holoprojector rumor is a miscommunication based off of the name of the unit. The Hollowmen name seems to be more based on the fact that they are robots remotely controlled via a brain in jar located in a secure vault. I am not overly concerned about the profiles either. The models are cool enough, and I have wanted to play Tanguska just so I can run Grenzer Fireteams.
Entirely possible, but a MOV 6-2, Holoprojector L2, Super-Jump unit is not unreasonable either. I have a friend who loves using Kotail (MOV 6-4, Holoprojector L2, Super-Jump, Symbiont Armour, V:Courage)!
