As a former dark eldar player I must say that 7 months is nothing, comparing to 12 years. As a Yj player, I'd say "wait and see" but somehow it doesn't sound reassuring ;-)
Hilariously, even as a PanO player, I'm most excited about the Haqqislam support pack. It's more evidence that the factions are getting support pack resculpts!
I could go for a new 112 & Dozer in a dual blister. The current Dr. Fireman is great but he's AVA 2 on some sectorials...
Hmm I wonder if this Raicho resculpt will include some skill upgrades. Also PanO players do not get your hopes up for a new support box. The current one sells fine and CB attaches some bizarre nostalgia to it.
Which is odd as they've got some... strange poses and are themselves a repack IIRC. Most Support Packs are from about 2012 or so aren't they, at least their current blister? Yu-Jing's is of course redone since I think it's as old as Pan-O's in mini age terms, Haqq getting a new one makes sense given they're paired with Yu-Jing in Red Veil and will get Ramah in the nearish future of 2019, but most of the others seem like they might not be updated too soon. Maybe the Nomads one will given Tunguska and Starco will make use of them, but it is technically a Bakunin unit, so given there's said to be no more Bakunin in 2018, maybe no for Nomad support this year. ALEPH getting an update also seems unlikely to me, ditto the JSA. A shame since the former is a bit weird with the ring-thing of Why Is This Here (But I believe one can just leave the Mother Forge off?), but the latter pretty much IS new IIRC since it's a 2015 release. CA don't really need it since everyone seems to love Doctor Worm fine though I doubt they'd complain if they get Doctor Worms 2: This Time There's A Concrete Donkey. And Tohaa, well, Tohaa don't get new things because Tohaa is Esperanto for suffering*. Ariadna also can't really get a support pack following the Doc-Engineer-2 Rems pattern most humans have for obvious reasons so my guess is, if they ever get one there's a Traktor Mul Minesweeper in there. That's the only Mul not with a mini as such, and in the support pack that'd make it a good bit less material-intensive than the MRL variants by removing the need for turrets, either allowing the old hulls to be used or the support pack to introduce new hulls to add missile turrets onto later. *Actually, that'd be Suferado apparently but hey.
I can't wait to see the Raicho resculpt. I never liked the current one even when it fit with the Morat look of the time, and it really doesn't match the updated Morat aesthetic.
We did! Not surprising considering we're expecting TAK soon™. IMO Dozers could really use a resculpt... Which reminds me how long did it take for the old GW higher-ups to realize that minis are often sold by their rules (and their in-game necessity, especially when you have events that require WYSIWYG). To be more precise, it took a CEO replacement. CB is definitely savvy of this, however. So I don't know... Frankly, while it bears "old" CA aesthetics, the model is absolutely awesome if painted well. Something more human-like would have harder time pulling off such a feat, but Worm isn't one. OTOH, we have a new aesthetics for EI-designed organisms-machines-tools-thingies, so there's that...
Maybe at this point it would also be best just to discontinue Tohaa so we won't be disappointed month after month :)
