I don't know if it's too early to start seeing a redesigned Merovingian. Aside from the Chassuer the other options would be foxtrot or scout right now right since we already have the mines marauder. Maybe it will be a sniper foxtrot or non sniper scout. Comparing the bag above the mine it looks a lot like the one the Irmandinho has on their back.
We're getting a new Chasseur to replace the one in the Vanilla starter that will go Out Of Production once the Kazak starter comes out, this is not the start of an FRRM redesign.
Maybe TAK has some Chasseurs! It would fit the trend of having some troops of other sectorials on the new one (Onyx, for example, or the NA2). It would be both a way to avoid extra clutter on Vanilla and to "resculpt" the old sectorials in a phased manner! Of course, the other option would be yet another foxtrot, but I doubt it would make much sense, since there is already about 2-3 of them and those have been around for more than a year :S
Considering the early information on what they're planning with MRRF, I find it unlikely any MRRF will appear in another Ariadnan sectorial (I mean, from what I've heard/remember, they'll likely be available to TAK eventually anyway)
Could be Foxtrot, could be Scout. TBH Scout seems more likely to me than a Chasseur. Or it could be an entirely new unit (not that TAK really needs any...)
Scout seems most likely to me. They have no standard model currently besides the old Ojotnik one (that is starting to show its age) and the sniper. They could use a nice basic variant in the modern style. Sent from my SM-J320P using Tapatalk
Still pretty sure it will be the Chasseur. The bag in the background do kinda lean towards scout. But I don't think the mine bag will work with the scout cloak. The French are also suppose to be getting a redesign so I'm expecting something quite different from the current Chasseur look. I also think blatently havent them reaching for the mine would be fitting for the minelayer chasseur. If they do a new scout he better bloody be holding an ojotnik and have it ready to fire. (Though I have a feeling the ojotnik scout will be in the kazak starter)
Bostria confirmed at Adepticon we were getting a Chasseur in the near future to replace the one from the vanilla starter.
Also remember that highlander grey (recently reesculpted) and chasseur (confirmed for the near future) are the only non TAK units in the starter and that veteran kazak just got a new sculpt too. So everything points to a TAK starter to replace the generic Ariadna o new generic Ariadna starter with all new sculpts.
I know theyre probably gearing up for Vedic, but any aleph release thats not a repack. We've now got a four months of nothing whatsoever, not even a repack.
